Location : 4/5 Very easy to find Parking Spot : 2/5 Not much space for cars. Probably 2 max. Smoking Area : So many tables here, and they have a few fans so it wasn’t so bad in a sunny days Toilet Area : Clean and neat. Hopefully it stays that way in a busy day. Other Highlight : Pet friendly!! Grab your pet and let’s go hangout at ben&lou!

Setting an American diner concept, Ben N Lou Coffee attracted my attention and curiosity. It's quite an instagrammable-spot, so do give this place a visit. I tried café canele, which was a form of affogato with a canele cake on top. I guess they used whole or mostly (probably 80-90%) arabica beans for their espresso since it was on the acidic side, something that I might never get used to when enjoying a cup of joe. Nevertheless, it was splendid and the canele cake added a whole unique experience. As for the snacks, I opted for something light but sweet. The choice fell to LOUkoumandes, which was 8-balls of doughnuts with your custom topping and your selection of sauce. Mine was topped with almond and dark chocolate sauce. They were soft and sweet, a perfect companion for your coffee.

Ben & Lou is a restaurant in Bandung with a highly original idea . The Nitro Tap Tea Sparkling Scarlet & Banana Pancake is what I ordered. The concept of nitro tap tea is novel, and the tea itself tastes great. Although the taste did not really stand out as being all that great, the pancake was a letdown in this situation due of the lengthy service. Additionally, the location is extremely warm, there is a weak internet signal (there's a quick free wifi, but sometimes it got cut for no reason), and outside noises distract the meal.

The concept of nitro tap tea is novel, and the tea itself tastes great. Although the taste did not really stand out as being all that great, the pancake was a letdown in this situation due of the lengthy service. Additionally, the location is extremely warm, there is a weak internet signal (there's a quick free wifi, but sometimes it got cut for no reason), and outside noises distract the meal.
