This is hands down, one of the BEST LOOKING interior of a cafe in Bandung.
Okay, basic things first : It's easy to find, on one of the most famous road in Bandung. Parking space are VAST, no need to worry about not getting one. Parking Security personnel makes it safer for your car. a bit on the pricey side, like the famous coffe chain.
Now, let me tell you why I love the interior.
First, all the wooden interior are ACTUALLY solid wood, instead of MDF or plywood covered in wooden-looking plastic (you know, like in most offices and cafes). Even the floor and ceiling are solid woods, and for a woodworking enthusiast like me, this is simply...gorgeous.
Then there's the dual theme...the front and the back part of the cafe...
The front side is nothing special, just like in most cafe. Decently soft cushion, bright light from both the indirect outdoor sunlight and the inside lighting.
But the back part...ooh, THIS is my favorite part. It's intentionally kept darker. There are directional light from the ceiling, each lamp dim and softly illuminating the surface of the wooden table top. It is a solace from the hot and bright outside. It also tends to make people speak quietly.
So if you have a quiet friend who tend to enjoy their solitude, this back side of the cafe is like the middle ground between introverts and extroverts
The food that we ordered is just decent though...I wouldn't recommend you to come here for the food. Come here to chat, to focus on the human conversation, the food and beverages wouldn't distract you...which might be.. a plus for...
Read moreWe visited Caffe Bene during the weekend and opted for the large strawberry bingsu, priced at approximately 82k. Additionally, we ordered a latte and a misugaru latte for our beverages. Alongside, we also tried the mix platter, featuring sausages, potatoes, chicken, and more, but found the portions somewhat inadequate given the price. Our choice of bulgogi rice was flavorful, but the meat and rice portions were noticeably scant. It's worth noting that they offer options for the egg in the bulgogi rice, allowing customers to choose between sunny side up or half-cooked. Regarding the bingsu, while the ice portion was generous, it could be smoother in texture. The standout element was primarily the ice itself. Service-wise, it was satisfactory, although customers are required to collect their food from the counter. However, in terms of value for money, we felt that the prices were...

Food/drink: ~ Ordered cappuccinos and both were very much large and delicious ~ The pastries such as croissant and Pain Au Chocolat are really nice, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, also warmed up which is nice. Vibe: ~ A very quaint, chill vibe, perfect for lite conversation, working on the laptop and even meetings as they have rooms for that. Price to quality: ~ On the more expensive side of coffee averaging around 50k, but they are higher quality. ~ Pastries are around 25k and are of high quality too Service: ~ Lovely staff, had no problems at all ~ Always happy and...
