This place is known for its unique way of serving foods to the customers' tables. While most of the famous sushi house on Indonesia are using those conveyor belt thing to serve their sushi around customers on the sushi bar, Genki Sushi use three levels of mini train rails which we often saw at the authentic sushi house back on its origin place, Japan, and the best thing is it delivers food to every table, not only those who sits on the sushi bar, and they serve everything really fast tho. There is also an ocha dispenser in the form of faucet available on every table. Oh, also we make food orders by tablet given to every table so we don't have to worry about calling-the-waiters-difficulty. The taste and appearance of their food was great and hey, I unexpectedly got a free dish! I was so fascinated by its innovation and overall I got a really nice experience eating at Genki Sushi, definitely...
Read moreVery tasty food! Sushi was fresh, that's why I'd recommend getting some raw salmon. I got the Dynamite Salmon Nigiri and it was amazing! Quite spicy but very juicy and soft salmon. They also have bigger menus now with a plate consisting of 8 cuts of sushi instead of 4. The makimono with cheese on top and beef inside was also good and fulfilling. I also ordered oyakodon and it was good although quite bland.
To drink, you'd have to order a hot tea from the menu and make the tea yourself from the tea powder already on the table plus hot water readily available. The ordering part was also interesting that you don't have to interact with any human, just input your order on a tablet and it'll come to you on a train. Definitely an interesting experience.
I wish I had tried their sashimi and hope I'd be able to come...

The waiters do try to hide substantial promotions from fave. Also they are tricky on the sense that they will tell you to get the promoted items, but they won't tell you that getting those items will disqualify you from fave vouchers. And they don't allow split bill, nor admit that not mentioning was their mistake. 2 stars off for those. Oh and the sushi with the fried fish was inedibly bitter AND EXPENSIVE. The waitress blame the bitterness on ginger. Obviously they don't know what ginger taste like. Pretty expensive restaurant if you don't use the have voucher.
The good? Spicy salmon Inari was phenomenal! The avocado salmon mayonnaise The sambal roa sushi Double spicy tuna Dynamite (not consistently good) The chicken egg Don (best I've...
