Giggle Box Ciwalk - Bandung — Restaurant in Bandung City

Went to Bandung for a quick meeting and I stayed at Sensa Hotel. Wanted to feel nostalgic and I choose Giggle Box as my dinner. Giggle box has been here since I was in college, but I guess it's all memories. I tried their beef rancher and it is too salty, they really put so many msg in it. The beef rancher is like a super thin meat covered by crispy flour. Supposed to be so yummy if the crispy flour is not salty :( another downpart is they didnt use fresh mushroom in their sauce, so its and essence mushroom sauce that contains a lot of msg :( Too bad they reduce their quality of what I remembered back then in 2009. Good food, good vibes. It won't tickle your tastebuds, but it's satisfying. Waiting times are nice: visited here on a national holiday, was half full, and the food came around 10-15 minutes of waiting. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes there's music, sometimes there isn't. When there is music, it's not too disturbing. There are two seating locations: inside, non smoking; and outside. But there's not much difference since the windows in the indoor seating area is always opened anyway. Don't expect the place to be glamorous, but it's comfortable enough to stay for a few hours.
