When I first drove into this place it has a Mediterranean concept and has a nice ambience. Stepping into the restaurant, I'm pleasantly surprised that the ground is white sand that adds to the beach ambience.
That's where the good things stops.
To NOTE... if you are wheelchair bound or has trouble climbing up steps, give this place a miss. The only access is a long flight of stairs. No other way up. Period.
Food was ordered and the waiter repeated my order. The food took about 20 mins to arrive.
The half chicken with fries were bland. The mushroom sauce that comes with it has a weird flavour so I just didn't finish it.
The pineapple rice has a great presentation but unfortunately it was rather sour. Not too bad but could have been better.
The chicken "satay" was just average and you can see in the picture that one of it is charred but they still served it. That should have been avoided.
The worst part was that they forgot to key in one of my order despite the waiter repeating it during the taking of orders. When i asked about it, they simply said that it was not keyed in and only then proceeded to key it into the system.
And that's the start of nearly an hour's wait with me asking a few waiters if the order was ready. There was no prioritisation of a missed order nor any urgency on their side. Just a mumbled sorry and then they just stood there and wait. My whole family has finished their meal and this order has still not arrived nearly an hour later.
Mind you that this is a simple dish of Nasi Uduk that is so simple to prepare. Nothing complicated because a lot of the dishes that comes with it should have been prepared for the day.
I had to get up and look for the manager, a Mr Stefanus, to bring up this matter. In the end the order was cancelled because the family member has no more appetite to eat after the long wait and repeated requests.
The only saving grace was that the manager did some damage control but it was too late to save the lunch.
It started well and with a lot of pleasant sights but it just degraded through the course of the lunch. Hopefully the management does something to improve the service to commensurate the...
Read moreGive 1 star is understatement. Really disappointed with their services and how they manage customer orders. The long weekend and rush hour is not an excuse to serve people poorly. We come around 1.30pm with a number of waiting list, then come for us to get table and begin order. We ordered Gurame Terbang with Rice, Sup Buntut+Rice, Buncis Singapore and two ice tea. And damn, we have to wait for more than 1 hour to have our order completed. The food is suppose to be delicious become cold and lose their taste. To make our order completed, we only wait 1 rice, 1RICEEE..!! AFTER 6 time complaining with several server who doesn't care enough if our order are there, we finally have this rice and then begin to eat. Hello Summer Management should look into these, we don't come to eat free, we pay and deserve good service.
Do not come in peak rush hour people! Not if you have a really long patience for...
Read moreThe ambiance of this restaurant was nice, but that’s about it. Initially, the staff greeted us warmly and showed us to our table, which we appreciated. However, when it came to service, it was quite disappointing. We had to wait a long time to get the attention of the waitstaff to place our order. Despite making eye contact with us, none of them approached our table immediately.
When the food finally arrived, it came out very slowly, dish by dish. Unfortunately, one dish was delayed so much that it arrived after everyone else in my family had already finished eating, which was over 20 minutes earlier. When we inquired about the delay, the staff seemed unaware, and only after another 10 minutes did the dish arrive.
Overall, while the ambiance was pleasant, the slow service and lack of coordination left us quite...
