Pepper Lunch • PVJ Mall — Restaurant in Bandung City

Today’s service is extremely bad, we were already in front of the cashier ready to order, and we kept on being cut by other orders, first she took an order from another staff first, and then she forgot our orders so we had to order again, and the worst is when we were making our payment, we were interrupted again by the supervisor asking our cashier about a boga member app that he didn’t understand how to operate, he is the supervisor. and i was still trying to be patient and asked again if i can pay now, then when she proceed to take our drinks, the supervisor asked her to take the drinks for his orders. AND WORST when i have paid, and waiting for my bill, AGAIN the supervisor interrupted and ask her about the app. seriously?...

My fams and I went to pepper lunch for dinner. My 3rd visit to PVJ and as usual dine in here. The staff very informative and helpful us to looking for our seat side by side. We are 6 persons actually.

Dine in with sensation on hot plate. You can mix it well. the rice, beef and the condiments. They have big portion and might upsize your portion with add cost.

Many kinds of menu hot plate and beverage. Start from US beef, salmon, chicken and vegetarian menus (non meat). Payment method by cashless or cash.

During ppkm level the seat having distance. So every customer will get the number and wait until the staff inform you shortly.

Menurut saya Pepper Lunch PVJ tidak senyaman Pepper Lunch cabang lain. Tempatnya didesain terbuka tanpa menggunakan pendingin ruangan. Sirkulasi udaranya hanya menggunakan exhaust yang menurut saya kurang banyak dan efektif, alhasil tempatnya menjadi sangat panas dan pengap. Interiornya tidak banyak berubah dari beberapa tahun lalu, agak sedikit boring dan outdated. Untungnya pelayannya sangat ramah dan responsif. 

Pepper Steak (135K)
Menu ini berupa daging steak yang dimasak dan disajikan dengan menggunakan hotplate bersama sayuran mentah seperti buncis, jagung, dan tauge. Menu ini juga sudah termasuk nasi sebagai sumber karbohidrat, porsi nasinya sih lumayan besar, saya sih kenyang banget. Dagingnya steaknya menggunakan bagian striploin (short loin). Surprisingly, kualitas dagingnya sangat OK, dagingnya segar dan marble-nya lumayan intens. Dagingnya sih sangat tender, easy to bite. 

Menyantap steak dengan hotplate seperti ini tentunya harus tricky karena hotplate-nya bikin steaknya gampang banget mateng bahkan gosong. Selain itu karena steak-nya in Japanese style, marinasi dagingnya agak sederhana, jadi penambahan pepper yang banyak serta sedikit soyu adalah sebuah mandatory. Sebagai pelengkap, saya memesan paket Complete Your Meal (18K) yang terdiri atas minuman dan side dish atau dessert. Saya memilih lemon tea dan mashed potato.
