Iāve seen this place many times, but never stop by to eat there until one time I stay at Grand Setiabudi Hotel just beside this restaurant. I have lunch there, a bit early so I was the second guest at that time, this place often full of guests and only few moments after I ordered people began to come in but donāt worry the waiting time not too long. The lamb satay is good. I enjoy the tongseng. And they served sate buntel too, it is good as well but I prefer sate buntel Tambak Segaran in Solo. Ok Solo is 9 hours drive from Bandung so when you are in Bandung and you want sate buntel better go to Sate Tegal Marem instead of going to Solo. You can even order from home with GoFood, maybe you can order Tambak Segaran satay too in GoFood but then again you have to wait until you find one crazy enough Gojek rider whoās willing to deliver your order from Solo to Bandung š Next time Iām in Bandung again I will put this diner in my culinary...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to Sate Tegal Marem againāprobably my third visit if Iām counting right. I had their Sate Buntel and Tongseng Kambing, washed down with a Teh Poci. The Sate Buntel? Man, it never disappoints. As soon as it hits your tongue, that coconut flavor kicks in, and then the kambing fat just melts and sits so warmly in your mouth. Truly something else.
The Tongseng Kambing was good tooāmeat was super softābut I made the mistake of eating it after the Sate Buntel, so the flavor felt a bit muted by comparison. As for the Teh Poci, they serve it in a real clay pot and glass, which gives off those nostalgic, old-school vibes.
For 2 nasi, 1 Tongseng, 1 Sate Buntel, and a Teh Poci, the total came to 160k for two people. Definitely on the pricey side, especially considering you only get three skewers per portion of Sate Buntel. Not exactly a place for when you're low on fundsāIāll save my next visit for after...

I tried the kambing dishes, they did not "stink" too much. Kambing guling is the most tolerable one because of the strong spices. The sate were tender and tasty too. I'll still come back for it. For kambing lovers, this is...
