Shabu Hachi Cilaki Bandung — Restaurant in Bandung City

Had an amazing dining experience at Shabu Hachi Bandung! If you love Japanese hotpot and quality meat cuts, this place is a must-visit. The variety on the buffet is impressive—from fresh vegetables, premium beef slices, seafood, and delicious side dishes to an array of dipping sauces that you can customize to your taste.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. They explained the menu clearly and kept refilling the broth and ingredients without needing to ask. The place was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere.

What I appreciated most was the balance of quality and value. The meat was fresh and tender, and the sukiyaki broth was flavorful. Their dessert selection, especially the matcha ice cream, was the perfect way to end the meal!

Definitely recommended for group gatherings, family dinners, or just when you’re craving a satisfying hotpot...

While price is very competitive and has a lot options to eat and to pay according to your budget, Shabu Hachi doesn't have the kind of kick that I need from the sauces. Tried every bit of their sauces for the meat before grilling it and the four kinds after, I found there's none that's actually elevate my appetite to have more and more of it.

Stopped at a record of six plates, which I could do more at other places, but I was thankful nonetheless. While this might be very subjective but I do sincerely hope that Shabu Hachi can improve that part and to also halal-certify the whole operation to create that advantage over other similar places that I suppose, don't have the real will to do that.

Including the sushi restaurants anywhere! Now that might be a bit too much...

REVIEW: Worth every penny for meat (shabu-yakiniku) lovers! A lot of meat selections are available to choose! I recommend the "Original Kunbo" for those who love sweet broth and "Tom Yam" for those who spicy broth. A lot of drink selection too (Thai Tea, Ocha, Matcha, Infused Water)! The place is very nice with nice music. I highly recommend you to sit near the window: Best seats at the restaurant!

PRICE: All for Rp.188.000,- (with Shabu + Yakiniku + Australian Regular Sliced Meat) or Rp.165.000,- (with Shabu + Australian Regular Sliced Meat -- cheapest meat selection).

IMPORTANT TIPS: For your convenience, please reserve your table first by calling the restaurant. Long-time waiting is not uncommon in Shabu Hachi.
