Yamato Gyukatsu — Restaurant in Bandung City

Trying Yamato Gyukatsu, since one of my favorite food blogger recommend this restaurant to try while visiting Bandung. I ordered Japanese Steak, Tenderloin Truffle, and varieties of Yakitori like Chicken Skin, Beef Baby Corn Roll, and Beef Beanstring Roll. My favorite menu is their Tenderloin Truffle (if you guys like, please order it to medium). All the menu that I ordered is coming in set menu (complete with white steamed rice, salad, and miso soup). For their Japanese Steak is pretty so so, there's nothing special from this menu. And for their Yakitori, I recommend their Beef Beanstring Roll, because at my order the Chicken Skin is pretty smelly (maybe it's because i'm have a really sensitive palate) and their Beef Baby Corn Roll is undercooked. First time i came to this place, the atmosphere was really good because it's new. The service also was quite good (i saw a waitress accidentally spilled the miso soup on customer and the owner came by and gave free service to them). The food was good but not all of the menu items were available (such as Kedondong Juice, Coconut Juice, etc.). I ordered Australian Tenderloin 120gr and Salmon Katsu for around 226k++, and the price was fair enough for the foods (in my opinion). We also grilled meats individually and the waitress said that the grill set would flame up for 20 minutes but actually it's only around 10 minutes. So, the customer should grill all the meats at once.

For better improvement, I'd recommend : Provide air circulation Train the waitress or waiter for fast respond and better...

The food is great, it is pricy tho, but again..it is good. The gyukatsu taste great, tender and juicy, but it's too bad it came out 3/4 frozen. So when i grill it, the center part of the meat takes time to cook. The sauce is sooooo good, makes you eat more rice. My toddler love the salmon ochazuke, the soup is good and savory but not msg-like-savory. But mannn, how i wish they put a bit more of the minced salmon, pls Yakitori, so far this is the best yakitori I ever had, in Bandung. I repeat: in Bandung. Very generous on the teriyaki sauce, my chicken skin yakitori taste so good! Better do reservation especially on the weekend. They will hold a table for you especially if you try to avoid...
