Aroma Signature — Restaurant in Batam City

Trying our luck to new place, while we are not that hungry but just want to chill out with my wife and son. This place is newly open, seen by some greetings flowers outside the place. When entering the place, the welcoming was great by one of the man staff. Place quite empty so we can chose any seat we want. And the place was cool enough to chill in the middle of hot day. Ordered nasi liwet bakar ayam bakar, tempe goreng, ice lemon tea, and bubble milk tea. The nasi liwet was good, tasty, even a bit too spicy. The condiments with ayam bakar, sambal petai, soup, and chilly made it perfect. Only the soup was quite cold, it should be good to accompany the nasi liwet bakar. Tempe goreng was great, we requested sweet soy sauce with chilly padi, that really made the day. Ice lemon tea was good, just as good as regular ice lemon tea, only the size was large enough that add the points. The bubble milk tea was great. The bubble was chewy and nice. Only too much ice cube that increase the water that soften the taste at the end. Overall good experience. The rice is not bad but compared to another nasi padang place this rice lacked the jasmine fragrance. The egg is an omlette and it’s soaked in oil and it’s also lukewarm. The potato ball is quite yummy with shallots and onion aroma in it.

The chicken is freshly deep fried and yummy. You can choose how you want your protein to be cooked. And whether you want chest or thigh. The curry sauce in the rice is watery and not as flavourful

But the Soto Ayam was really delicious, the soup was flavourful and had so much chicken flavour. Lots of veggies and it also has vermicelli in it. It had shredded chicken and it’s not spicy so recommended to those who cannot take spicy.

Coconut cream milkshake has the taste of attap seeds in it too. Lychee tea lacks tea flavour, has more lychee syrup in it

The ambience is really nice, there’s a restroom and everything was pleasant.

Clean and tidy restaurant with friendly staff. Limited choice menu, served within 10 to 15 minutes. For Vegetarian only snacks and juices are the option. For Eggetarians Gado Gado with snack and juice would be the option.

I've tried few verities from menue list, quality and taste of food is good and satisfactory. Food portion served and the size of chicken per meal are larger if compared with others. As well the price tag appears reasonable.

Parking space available, clean washroom, fit for purpose ambience. No wheel chair access. Take note last order taken is by 08:00pm.

Food which i tried and recommend: Signature Ayam Bakar, Ayam Gulai, Chicken Katsu, Gado Gado, Nasi Liwat Bakar Ayam Bakar, Jagung Goreng, Pisang Goreng.
