OK...i like this place and should you if you are the type of buffet person who like to take yourself the food and know what is the limit. Typically most of the food are come from java style...particularly West java. Though, you can find various food choices from vegetable until barbeque chicken and satay. The option also plenty. avoid to come in lunch time as this place will be pack with hungry people and you have to find the seat quickly...moreover if you come in group. There is no booking order so you have to find your time. It has second floor that are generally is less crowded if you want to eating there. The food is basically the same as the ground floor. You can ask the waiter to bring you from ground floor if you can not find in the second floor. The price is relatively reasonable and cheap. You just come, grab the plate and take the food you want. sit down and enjoy the food. the waiter will come to your table and calculate the price and give you a piece of paper that you bring to cashier when paying later. If you add something, just tell them as they will add the price. once again, if you miss any Javanese food, just come and enjoy what you can find. take yourself and you will be pampers by...
Read moreAmazing. What a great food experience. Clean. No flies. Lovely people. This is a self service buffet style canteen where you help yourself ( more later on that). Then you sit down and order a drink and a lady pops by and assesses your plate and writes you a bill. You pay the cashier on the way out. Now for the best bit. The food. My partner eats with her eyes and even she was impressed. The rice was in a big steamy bucket. It was light and fluffy and fragrant. The achar simple and fresh, the satay was smokey and soft, the salad fresh and crispy, the chicken of which there were many sorts, BBQ, grill, fried ,kampung were perfectly cooked. My plate was now full full and more choices like grilled prawns, fish of all sorts, Inc balls. Please don't take my word on...
Read moreWarung Sunda Bu Joko is hands down the best Padang food experience I’ve had in Batam. Located just a 10-minute walk from Four Points by Sheraton Batam, it offers an extensive self-service spread with incredibly flavorful dishes like their rich satay, aromatic chicken rendang, and many other traditional favorites. Every bite is packed with authentic taste, and the pricing is refreshingly fair – you only pay for what you take. Whether you’re a Padang cuisine lover or just craving a hearty, satisfying meal, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Highly...
