Do note that Spa Central Nagoya Hill Batam has a staff member, a male therapist named Horas, who offers Manhood massages (not sure if he's still with the company or not). This service was offered to my husband when he was separated from me in a different treatment room and floor altogether simply because all couple rooms and all other female masseuses were fully booked at that time. He was successfully convinced by Horas to accept the Manhood massage service by Horas because Horas assured him that the massage would increase his sexual stamina, balance his hormones and testosterone for sperm production, etc. etc. despite being very uncomfortable and skeptic about it. As our handphones were kept in the locker (we wanted to enjoy our full body massages without disturbance or distraction by our phones), he couldn't contact me to discuss first before accepting the offer, and so he made the decision to proceed based on the "product description" that Horas "was selling" to him. Apparently, it’s illegal to do Manhood massage at a Spa like Spa Central unless they are licensed and certified as therapist to do so, and it was unethical behaviour, disgusting, rude, and wrong in many ways considering that the Spa does not offer such service. What happened to keeping the sessions enjoyable, professional, respectful and protecting the client’s modesty? Unlike my female therapist, Horas kept on making conversations and asking my husband personal questions throughout his massage session, instead of doing his job right which is to fulfil a full body massage and allowing a peaceful and enjoyable treatment for his client. I still wonder to this day as to why I haven't reported them to the authorities for offering illegal services to their customers. Truly unbelievable at how daring Horas was to offer Manhood massage "under the table" to my husband on that fateful day we were there last July 2023. The follow-up by the management team on the investigation was so slow that it took them 10-11 days to get back to me via Whatsapp, telling me that the said staff was given a verbal warning and a warning letter by their HR and assured that it won’t happen again. They had initially offered a 60-minute aromatherapy voucher as a service recovery, but in the end, there was no voucher given up till today, as they ghosted me after I replied to them on Whatsapp. I did not pursue the matter then, as I didn't want a voucher and I was not hard up for it. They probably felt relieved and happy when I didn't chase them for a reply back, but it does reflect badly on them as an established Spa and how highly unprofessional they were handling such a complaint. Don't think I will ever return to Spa Central after a horrible experience and have since not recommended my friends, colleagues, relatives, and family members or anyone I know from coming to Spa Central again and have their massage done, particularly by Horas. PS: I got to know of Spa Central through a family member, and we used to be regulars at the Batam Centre branch before this...

A day to relax at spa ending with stress and time wasted for us. My husband iPhone was stolen from their so call "locked" locker. Key was with us during massage. Thanks to icloud find my iphone, we could detect where it is and the culprit was found to be the staff itself.

Spa have to change their system to keep belongings in the room. I have been to many countries for Spa & Massage, none i have to keep my belongings in the locker, I could bring in the room itself. The culprit did not confess taking it from locker. My husband let Spa Central management to deal with her honesty, forgave her & decide not to do a police report against her.

CCTV location also needs to change. Spa CCTV is not facing locker itself but stairways and can only see glance who is standing near the locker, cannot see what they are doing near the locker. My husband demanded for x2 compensation but was only offered and given back exact price in cash the spa package we paid. From all this traumatic experience and stress of losing handphone for that 2 hours, spa could have done better for service recovery. Their boss was a Singaporean and no apologetic call from the boss itself at all. All was handled by their own HR and Manager incharge.

Spa Central Batam Boss, you could have done better. You know this things just happened on the night before, you could go to Batam the next day to handle it yourself because you know, we the victims of theft in your spa will come the next day for your cctv footage and outcome. But you did not. You let your staff handle everything. Bad service recovery.

Lastly, so future customers do not put your valuables in their "locked" locker if you dont want to risk losing it. For me, i wont be patronizing them again for sure! There are other very good spa around Batam Ive been before, just so suay tried them 1st time...

The atmosphere was serene, and the staff was amiable and accommodating, making us feel like royalty.

The lunch was a perfect addition to the already magnificent spa experience. The combination of savoury and sweet flavours and textures made every bite enjoyable. It was a delightful treat that enhanced our overall satisfaction with the day.

We had an absolutely delightful experience at the spa, largely thanks to the incredible skills of our therapists, Dianty and Angie. From the moment we met them, it was clear that they were true experts in their craft. They took the time to listen to our concerns and preferences and then proceeded to work their magic on us with the utmost care and precision. The atmosphere they created was complete relaxation and tranquility, and we felt like we were in the most capable hands. By the time our treatments were finished, we felt like we had been transported to another world. Our skin was glowing, our muscles were relaxed, and we were completely at peace. We cannot recommend Dianty and Angie highly enough - they are simply the best!

It was the perfect way to celebrate our special occasion and to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the Spa Central Batam - Nagoya Hill...
