Restaurant Martabak Har — Restaurant in Batam City

It was quite food. Easy to find and right at the traffic lights The rice is affordable. There is also a toilet over there But the waiters aren't good. Their attitudes were quite arrogant I don't like it If the taste is bas i will give only 1 star for this rate. When i wanted to add an addistional drink the waiters just stand up at the corner no matter how many times i've called. They just replied with "what? " Oh my gosh. It's really rude you know. And my brother then ask one of them to come several times until his tone is a bit heavy then the waiter finally come I know this resto is famous but do not take it for granted. Sooner or later the customer will be dissatisfied with such a hospitality. I hope the owner or manager can see my comment and do more training in...

We went with our friends from the UK and were not disappointed. The flavors are like the north-Indian food we're used to in the US. The chicken punjabi, kari dal, and mutton biriyani were all quite good. The garlic naan was also good, although flat/thin like most naan made in Batam. Our friends said the mango lassi tasted 'cheesy' - maybe the yogurt they used was a bit pungent. Overall, this is the best Indian restaurant we've tried in Batam. Street side food. The place is refecting local Batam atmosphere, waiter is okay. Anyone can smoke here, not a perfect choice for me as I am not smoke.

I ordered Martabak Har, Martabak Ayam, Martabak Udang, prata kosong and prata cheese. Food taste is good. The martabak is not too salty it taste good combine with the curry dipping and the pickles. Martabak ayam is good, martabak har is okay - what possibly could go wrong with egg? 😁… prata is standard, prata cheese is prata with shreeded cheese.

The staffs are okay. Standard Batam hospitality. Nothing special about them.
