Jabal Arafah Mosque — Attraction in Batam City

This mosque is located at strategic area because close to Nagoya Hill Mall and Nagoya district area, many tourist and local people come in just to visit and also to prays in this place, second and third floors is still under construction but it can still be used, the toilets is so clean, the atsmosphere so good with many green trees and plants.

The mosque building is so integrity concept, not only for prays this place have towers building which is you can see Batam view espicialy Nagoya area on the top, the free library, and you also can chill at canteen...

Just can't get enough with this place.

Indeed beautiful, a icon of Batam Island.

You can visit the tower and watching stars with the telescope inside. Just pay some rupiah and you can enjoy all facilities.

There's also boutique, they sell muslim clothes for women called gamis.

The area so cozy, with a perfect view.

Nice rest room and this mosque is the biggest in Batam Island.

Just come to this place for education, they have a library in second floor.

Some people also make a wedding ceremony called akad here.

The construction is not finish yet. The parking arrangement and traffic management so terrible. The officer (member of Pengurus Masjid) are not really shown the Moslem culture/behaviour. They are not polite, not respect to the other. In the Shalat Ied, they divided the room is not proper, they provided the bigger part for the women. Hopefully the Mosque management will have the good people to manage the big Mosque and the monumental Mosque in...
