Ordered: sweet and sour fish (100,000 rupiah) salted fish bean sprout Kang gong Tom yum seafood soup fried Sotong 3 coconuts 4 rice
Total: around 399,000 rupiah (4 pax)
IMHO it was not worth it. Giving it 2 stars because the fish was still not bad, quite fresh. The sauce for the fish is actually Assam and it’s quite good imo. My fam esp my dad love it. The Tom yum soup had a lot of coconut milk in it, making it very thick and sweet. I’m more in favour of sour Tom yum so this is really not my type. I personally didn’t try the fried Sotong but my fam felt that it was too hard, like eating biscuits... the coconut drink wasn’t sweet and the coconut meat was a little on the hard side too and it’s 20,000 rupiah (around the same rate in sg) I saw many good reviews about this place and that’s why we came here but it was quite...
Read moreA charming restaurant that exceeded my expectations in foods. Situated conveniently close to a populated area, it's an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike. The menu boasted a delightful selection of seafood dishes, and I must say, the fish soup I ordered was simply exquisite. Cooked to perfection, it melted in my mouth with each bite, leaving me craving more. What truly impressed me was the very reasonable price for such high-quality food. The portions were generous, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. Additionally, the staff were dutiful, providing attentive service throughout our meal. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of delicious seafood at a...
Read moreWe went there bcos of the positive reviews here. But sadly, our experience was a bad one. Service was quite bad, no input from the service staff on what was good. The much touted tomyam seafood soup was terrible. It was too thick, and the ingredients came in tiny pieces, hardly any fish, and the prawns were not fresh. The kang-kong veg was so oily and overcooked. The otah was so small, thumb-size, thin, and dry. The only item we liked was the "chou-dou" veg. Even the avocado drink was WAY too sweet with added sugar even though we told them NO SUGAR. Giving this restaurant even one star is being generous. A very disappointing experience. $399,000 for the 5 of us went...
