I've come here for quite some times now, and I enjoy spending time here. As far as I know maraca is the only coffee shop that have a concept of books and coffee in Bogor city! Cmiiw.. in the indoor area you will spot on big wide books racks with grouped colors. Nice collection though with most of them were english. Some titles for children also available.
They have a medium size indoor area with high chairs and small high table, medium wood table, and smaller coffee tables. While the outdoor area is slightly bigger with bigger wood tables. All of the tables have been provided with plugs so it was quite convenient for working. Although the ambience not comfortable if you want to have a meeting with a lot of people unless you have it in the outdoor but be cautious for the vehicles loud noises since it was at central street of Bogor.
Easy to spot for the location with friendly staff are two of their many merits along with wide varieties of coffee and tea moreover they start open at 7 AM (nowadays they even open start 6.30 AM!). I'm fascinated with the wide options of snacks such as fritters, pastries, cakes, etc while they also have some heavy meals option (rice, pasta, burger). My personal favourite was the donat kampung, almost always order it. The price for beverages start at 30k-ish and you will get a discount if you come in the morning, light meals/snacks start at 15k, and for heavy meals they have flat price for 43k with free ice tea if you order around 11-13 AM. I enjoyed the combination for their heavy meals because the portion for the veggies and proteins is a lot more than the...

They provide a various menu, i have caramel macchiato only. Why? Well, my friend is going to order, the barista said there's only beverage that can be ordered (they actually have meal and snack menu) since it is almost 07.00 PM but then another customer ordered dinner, and they provide it??? still kinda confused, because i was going to order snack at the same time. Maybe they should really tell when was the last order for food.
This place have big parking lot, so you don't have to worry about your vehicle. The smoking area is more spacious than the non-smoking one. But, i feel more comfy with the non-smoking area. They have a wall full of books arranged by its cover colors. Also have books and toys for babies!! It's a good place to come and have a me-time here with various types of books, specially for you who likes to read. They represent this place just as the name says, "MARACA" (from Sundanese, means "pada baca") that everyone can read together and...
Read morePulled up to this café on the day after Eid 2025—wasn’t too crowded. The vibe inside? Super chill and peaceful, even with the rain outside. It’s a bit small, but it feels cozy and alive. One thing though, the tables… kinda weird. The gaps between the wooden slats make them feel more like benches than actual tables, which is a little concerning for customers.
For the food, I got their smoked beef rissole and a cup of their "Magic" coffee, while my friend went for the bitterballen. Loved that both snacks were served warm. The rissole? Pretty standard, but honestly, for the price, I expected more. The bitterballen, though? Chef’s kiss—perfect for snacking while chatting. As for the "Magic" coffee, they use Arabica beans. It starts off kinda bitter, but ends on a refreshing note. Not my go-to, but still enjoyable.
Shoutout to the cashier + waiter! Super friendly, always smiling, and they even replaced my friend's fork instantly after it fell—without us even asking. Five stars just for that...
