I came with my sister because she likes Korean food so much.
When we arrived, we were amazed by the atmosphere in the restaurant. The neon light as the decoration is great. It's simple, but makes the whole restaurant looks good and trendy. The dining room is spacious and cozy. The tables are placed quited a distance away, so that we didn't feel bothered by the other customers. Also, the service was so friendly.
I ordered Jjajangmyeon (noodle with black bean sauce), and Tteokbokki (sweet and spicy rice cake). And my sister ordered Haemul sundubu jjigae (seafood spicy soft tofu stew).
They served the side dishes first with complementary cold barley tea as the drink. We enjoyed the side dishes while we wait for our main dishes. There were six little plates with the side dishes in each of them. Some of them are good, and some are below average. The best out of six was the Kimchi and Sigeumchi muchim (warm spinach salad). The savoury pancakes was cold, dry bland, a little bit tough. The shredded potato was undercooked and a little bit too salty. The rest of the side dish were .... just okay.
After 20 minutes of waiting, our mains arrived. My Jjajangmyeon was good. It was better than the other one I had at the other restaurant, but still not the best yet. It was quite bland for me. But the noodle cooked perfectly. I was surprised about the portion size because it was a lot. I was still full after about the next 5 hours. The Tteokbokki was delicious. That was the best one I've ever had. The spiciness, sweetness, and the texture of the rice cake was top notch.
My sister said her stew was delicious. It was raining when we came and the dining room's AC was on. It was quite cold that day. But because of the stew, she felt cozy and warm. The clams in that stew was fresh and they put a lot of it.
Overall, it was a great experience. Maybe the price was kind of expensive for us. But for that quality they have for the mains, we would...
Read moreA Delicious Journey into Korean Cuisine
I am absolutely delighted with my experience exploring Korean food! Every dish is packed with rich flavors, unique textures, and a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, salty, and savory elements. Korean cuisine offers an incredible variety of dishes, each with its own distinct taste and cultural significance.
I also love Bibimbap, a beautifully arranged rice dish topped with vegetables, meat, egg, and spicy gochujang sauce, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. And for something comforting, Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) never disappoints with its chewy texture and bold, spicy-sweet sauce.
Beyond the incredible taste, Korean food is also about experience—sharing meals with friends and family, enjoying the interactive element of table-top grilling, and savoring the tradition behind each dish. Whether dining at a Korean restaurant or cooking at home, every bite feels like a warm and flavorful adventure.
Overall, Bibimbap is a must-try for anyone who loves bold flavors and exciting culinary experiences. It’s delicious, satisfying, and full of culture. Highly...
Read moreIve been to their outlet in kuta and Jimbaran before. Now I’m trying their new branch in Sanur. The parking lot is spacious, can accommodate 10 cars, and plenty motorcycles. They look good on the outside, and the waitress always greet us when we arrived with korean language. Inside is non smoking room, they hav AC and its cold inside. We order Samgyepsol or whatever the name is (pork belly) and of course Fried Chicken and hence the name is Bimbimbap there is something wrong if we not ordered bimbimbap. When we arrived, some koreans eat there with their families (which is a good sign if you saw korean eat at korean restaurants). 15 minutes later the food comes. The bimbimbap taste is really good and on point. And the pork belly is no seasoning but they provide salt and pepper on the table to seasoned it to our tastebuds. They have a free drink too and we can refill it. The fried chicken’s is a must try, the gochujang sauce that covered the chicken is really delicious, makes...
