Lada Restaurant — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

We came in for practicality reason of not wanting to go out of the hotel for a meal. Our practicality was delightfully rewarded by such wonderfully ecstatic pleasure of what I can only decribe as one of the best Indonesian food I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world...an extreme departure from our initial zero expectations whatsoever of this restaurant.

We have stayed in this hotel for many years and we were so glad to have chosen this time for this adventure, after the Lada’s total renovation.

Surprisingly as well, being a 5-star hotel’s restaurant, Lada is very affordable, which heightened the whole experience as it allowed us to order more varieties.

The taste and quality of the menu deserve a huge ovation. The service was top notch, warm, friendly, welcoming, recommending, patience, apologetic, emphatic, appreciative, and always with a big smile, from all the staff. They belong to a different level of culinary sophistication, which put many high-end Indonesian restaurants to shame.

We will certainly be back for more and...

Our experience here was absolutely delightful. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was great, the food was delicious, the ambience was beautiful. You can either order typical Indonesian dishes or kind of a mix-yourself option, where you order chicken satay (which comes with rice) and then choose different types of veggies (which we ordered). Food was tasty But the Gordon Blu I ordered had totally unmelted cheese on the inside (still cubed) - precooked and not reheated enough.
