Oomba Beach House — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

Sadly disappointed. Beautiful location. I’ll start this off by saying both my husband and I are not picky at all. We like basically all drinks and food. In Bali we usually ask what is best on the menu and are thrilled with it. Today we didn’t even ask- as soon as we sat the server came and strongly recommended 2 Drinks (the oomba sour and the whiskey sour)- which we ordered. Unfortunately Both drinks were so overwhelmingly sweet they were completely undrinkable. We also ordered a chicken and avocado salad and morning star burrito. They did not have the avocado for the salad and could not replace with beans or anything else (odd but ok). My husband was served a chicken burrito rather than The breakfast burrito he ordered. When finally asked how the drinks were we politely sent them back. We were not offered anything else or even asked what was wrong. When the bill came we were charged full price for everything even though we didn’t touch the drinks and were served the wrong food. I will say the ice latte was good and chicken burrito was quite tasty. Went for a morning walk with my husband. Saw this coffee shop with no one there but a great view of the water. Decided to grab coffee.

My husband went to pick out seats. I knew what he wanted, and I was still deciding. Once I figured it out, I tried to place our order since I was up at the counter looking at the menu. I'm not sure if he was the owner or one of the servers. He wouldn't take down our drink orders from me. He kept acknowledging my husband, who is across the way, sitting down. My husband confirmed we the order and paid since I didn't want to have issues again.

Come across this cafe on our way to another cafe and decided to give it a go, best decision ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Presentation of cafe was very clean and loved the options for seating, we sat outside on the comfortable lounge/chairs and table overseeing the beach 🏖️ Service was awesome with a great selection to choose from. I enjoyed my cappuccino and fresh juice with my smoothie bowl. Ingredients were fresh and we didn’t have to wait long for our order to come out. Being a smaller cafe than the one we were walking too made the experience intermit and lovely. Pricing is good and I will make an effort to go back next time I’m on holidays in Bali.
