You have to be joking! This is easily the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Anywhere ! I booked days in advance. The restaurant management and I exchanged around 20 messages and numerous phone calls to make sure this luncheon for myself and 10 friends went smoothly. It was all good until we arrived. The restaurant was empty ( I now know why). The 3 young staff had been informed of our booking but were somewhat like rabbits caught in the headlights. There were no kitchen staff anywhere. I had informed the management that we all enjoy a cold beer. After 5 small Bintang beers between the group of us their stock was finished. Absolutely atrocious! There is a group of about 15 expats in Sanur who visit different restaurants each week. Our visit this week was to Peak. These visits are always prearranged with the manager or owner of the venue. As usual, this visit was prearranged and the manager sent us a menu and confirmed the time and number of diners. When we arrived the menu provided bore no resemblance to the menu we had been sent. The staff appeared totally unaware that we were attending. Some guests ordered Bintang beer when they arrived but after 15 minutes the venue ran out of Bintang.
