Read moreUnfortunately the atmosphere at this restaurant was a lot to be desired. The food was great however when there was an incident involving loud banging drums due to a cultural performance the staff had little to no interest on minimising the impact to diners, even with my hands over my ears there was still no involvement from staff to usher the performers outside, when questioned the staff implied they could not do anything about it, not even usher the performers away from those wishing to dine and try to enjoy their meal.
I raised the concern with the supervisor who was not willing to listen - when I eventually advised them that I wasn’t happy that no staff members asked the performers to leave and that I don’t intend on paying the full bill, he then offered 10% discount as an apology (which i felt was fair) however when I got the updated bill that 10% was only 10% of the dessert, which equated to $10,000 ($1AUD). When I questioned this and clarified that with him, he then said “oh i make mistake sorry”. I found this to be very unprofessional. Eventually he ended up discounting the bill by 10% entirely, which was around $13 AUD, which I felt was fair and represented the inconvenience endured.
Unfortunately the food for this place was amazing - however the staff need to learn that without customers there js no business. I’m not saying that the customer is always right, i am saying that customers must always be respected.

Read moreMozza in Sanur is easy to find, but parking is tricky, and a falling toilet paper holder in the restroom was an unexpected surprise.
The food was inconsistent. The Salmon Pesto Pasta was decent, but lacked flavor, and the salmon didn’t really work with the dish. The Ribeye Steak was a major letdown—tough, underseasoned, and not what you’d expect from a ribeye. The Tenderloin was slightly better, but the presentation felt cheap, with melted mozzarella over mashed potatoes. The Sashimi Oysters were fresh and tasty, probably one of the better items on the menu, but still nothing spectacular. The Tuna Carpaccio looked nice, but the tuna itself was mushy, could be a quality issue, similar to the ribeye.
Drinks were also hit or miss. The Espresso Martini was way too strong, with the alcohol overpowering any coffee flavor. The Cosmopolitan, however, was well-balanced and enjoyable.
On the plus side, the service at Mozza was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to address any issues. When we didn’t like the ribeye, they offered us a replacement dish, which was appreciated.
Overall, Mozza has potential, but the inconsistent food quality and presentation issues make it hard to fully recommend. If you decide to visit, stick to the simpler...
