I would consider this place as a cafe rather than restaurant despite having extraordinarily exquisite dishes ready to be chow down.
They have seasonal menus that some of which catch foodies eyes, e.g. the "Indonesian Snail" Escargot, i don't know what they will have in the future for their limited edition/period of time to be served.
Their platting is quite simple, slight rustic if I may say. Supported with good classical ambience and somewhat unmatched music playlist, this café could be considered as weird but unique.
I do hope that they would increase their food supply, differentiate by creating new recipes.
Service is good, waiters is very informative, they know what they were talking about about their menus (products knowledge is a must!). They even assertively notified me if there's a dish or two that would be delayed even detailing to the reason why. I wouldn't say it's an excuse but it was a great honesty. Salute for the excellent service.
Overall it was an exquisite dining experience. The waiting time was reasonable even when I know they're short of staff. Punctuality is a great mindset to have for any...
Read moreOne of my favorite cafe in Jogja, used to come here once a week to study and work. However today will be the last day I come here and will recommend my friends to come to this cafe.
Why? Very rude barista to me and my friends, I have spent millions ordering drinks and food, today I only ordered a single drink, and left for a while to the indomaret, came back to continue working, after 15 mins the barista came to me and told me you cannot leave the place and come back without ordering first (this was said in a very rude way), he also added everyone can do that just to come in and go as they wish.
This is my first time in a cafe where I am treated this way, this is very rude and I will never step a single foot in this cafe ever.
Was actually planning to stay for a while and order some more drinks (like I usually do) but excited 5 mins after this rude comments from the Barista.
Recommendation for the cafe that was once my favorite, treat customer with joy and comfort and don’t force them to buy something when they had just bought an item 30...
Read moreYum Yum Yum! Wow Wow Wow! This has to be one of the best, most extravagant restaurants I have ever seen. However, all was not well in my experience at Esco. Being quite a small, frail man. I cannot run like I used to when I were a young lad and this proved costly in my endeavour to Esco. Before I arrived at the entrance, I noticed a small plastic bag being blown about by the wind. I moved closer towards the bag, then it attacked. The bag flew towards my head engulfing my head in a suffocating plastic film. I threw my body onto the ground in an attempt to free myself from this bag but it just wouldn't budge. I fought for 8 whole minutes and eventually managed to rip a hole in the bag with my teeth, allowing a vital passage of air to my lungs. I lay there on the ground only managing to grasp a small breath of air through the hole. I had broken 3 limbs and 2 ribs. I still have the bag on my head today. I named it Ian.
Kind...
