Ah, there are so much things to be said about this place. It was our family’s one-stop noodle shop since forever ‘til 2019—before we were just too lazy to go out for grocery shopping on Saturday morning. Glad I still have the chance to enjoy the delicious bakmi as it was! I also enjoyed their nasi campur back then but for now, bakmi ayam is just enough to me for its flavor that you might expect for a traditional chinese noodle. A little bit oily, chicken is also tasty. Must try for their condiments: bakso goreng and pangsit goreng!
A little bit personal but we met the owner when we took the elevator together. He was pretty nice and told us a little joke when my parents greeted him (he’s too familiar as we often ate at his shop).
Outside the restaurant, turn left and turn right. There are lots of traditional snacks you can buy. I personally love talam ubi sold at...
Read moreKnow this place since forever, and always love their noodle, making me always craves for this noodle place. For today breakfast menu, I ordered Sui Sen Bakmi Ayam Jamur Pangsit. Love their noodle texture which is thin and easy to chew (usually i'm the type that go for more chewy noodle, but for this one i'm making my exception 😋). Their topping is also abundant in amount and savory especially their mushrooms making this dish more delicious, with additional topping of dumplings (their dumplings is delicious as well, everything in this dish is delicious 🤤). Beside my beloved noodle dish, I also ordered their Nasi Campur. Their nasi campur is fully topped with various toppings (I love all of them) of half boiled egg in sweet soy sauce, steamed chicken, roasted pork, charsiu pork, pork ngohiong and pork satay. Recommend this place...
Read moreThis old-school noodle shop is still good and it sells not only noodle with various toppings like pork / chicken meats, mushrooms, wonton and sui-kiaw dumplings, fried pork meatballs, etc but also other Chinese dishes like mixed rice (nasi campur) and meatball soup. The noodles are the best while the mixed rice is just average since not all components are good. The fried meatballs and wontons are the best topping for the noodle.
Don't expect good ambience since this is just old-school noodle shop where you sit in a communal long table along with other customers. Service is efficient but sometimes quite hard in busy times.
You pay only by cash or e-wallet. Prices are reasonably high but still OK compared to similar offerings in...
