Gedung Kesenian Jakarta — Attraction in Jakarta

Why I love this place? Because the atmosphere here embraces a distinct angle of art. It brings people to fall in love with art especially Indonesian culture. That time there was a Simbad theater in here combining with traditional dances from Indonesia. It was terrific outstanding!! You can see many foreigners here join to perform their talents that wrapped up with Indonesian traditional clothes and dancing. it brings Indonesian culture alive! The building is good, the structure seems strong, and many photos around to preserve memories back then. I can't say anything than "this is amazing!"

A venue with accoustic wall around the auditorium and a great place to watch orchestra... Before now, in the both foyers there're pictures of performing art which was happened in Gedung Kesenian Jakarta so it's like time capsule when you're entering the foyers. This is my first time at the Jakarta Arts Building because I want to watch George Harliono's concert. The location is very strategic as it is close to Istiqlal Mosque, the Cathedral Church, and also Pos Block.
