First time visiting Bijin Nabe at PIM 3 (after previously been eating at the one in Plaza Senayan). I went to this place on a Sunday, at 4.30pm. No one in sight. It was pretty much empty, perhaps there were 2-3 tables being occupied, but they were about to finish. The server was terrible, did not look like she got paid well, and just threw her frustration at the customers (in this case, it was me). I said I needed a table for 4. She made it as it I was breaking some kind of policy by coming without making a reservation in advance. If it was a problem, she could have just said getting a table without a rsvp was not possible, instead she told me to put my name & phone number down. After it was done, I asked whether it would still take a long time, and without even looking she just said, "Yep, very long!" & left. This has never happened to me at Bijin Nabe - Plaza Senayan, even during peak hours. Kinda embarassing for an establishment like Bijin Nabe. Read moreOne thing that this restaurant need to improve is their communication. We order 2 soup (collagen and Tom Yum) and they told us that we will get 1 refill for each of the flavor. We need to ask and remind 3 times to get our refill. . And when the refill comes it only 1/3 from the orginal. When we ask then the waiter then she explain that the original is 450 ml and the refill is only 150 ml . Whatttt??? Why don’t they inform us in the beginning .
Then the 2nd bad thing also happen when we ask to refill our cold ocha, the waiter come and pour us the hot ocha… when we ask she said that the jar is for cold ocha but they refill with hot ocha but forgot to put the ice cube into the jar. OMG
