Came here for break - fasting on Monday (2 days before eid). We booked a table for 4 person for 6pm. BUT AND BUT HHHH belom buka puasa bikin males We watched as THE WAITER IN RED UNIFORM wrote our name along with details of the time and telephone number. Initially he wrote 6.30 pm but he crossed it out to 6.00. So okay, we made a deal through her sitting at the bar table. ✅
When we got there at 5.45, it turned out the table was still occupied, maybe we thought they would finish at 6. BUT when we got there at 6, it turned out our names had been crossed out and the time had changed to 5.30 in the afternoon, said THE WAITER IN GRAY UNIFORM. ❌
THE WAITER IN GRAY UNIFORM (again!) said that she had called my phone but was not active even though there was no call at all. Finally the waiter who wrote our names was called (THE WAITER IN RED UNIFORM) and she also said that it was 6 o'clock not 5.30. Finally, THE WAITER IN GRAY UNIFORM (again!) called his friend who said she crossed out our names and complained if we ordered at 5.30 instead of 6. I spoke a bit loudly if I didn't order at 5.30 but at 6. I also asked for proof whether there was really an outgoing call to my number, but THE WAITER IN GRAY UNIFORM (AGAIN!) couldn't show it.❌❌
So don't get your words twisted by THE WAITER IN GRAY UNIFORM in front. This is a really shhhh. ❌❌❌‼️‼️
Finally, THE WAITER IN RED UNIFORM informed us that there were customers making payments and we were asked to wait. the end of the story we arrive at the table and eat.
During the payment process we were given French fries as an apology for the inconvenience.
Conclusion: What I don't like is why THE WAITER IN GREY UNIFORM as if I ordered at another time that wasn't my reques. HOWEVER I appreciated THE WAITER IN RED her name is Farah CMIIW because she is consistent and doesn't lie. Shame on you if this happens to other customers. Moral of the story: The waiter in grey uniform ❌❌❌ The waiter in...

This place definitely qualify as one of my favorite japanese restaurant in town!
atmosphere is beautiful.... well appointed. I thought im entering into a vip lounge and the best part the prices are not vip prices... i would consider the price on the affordable side for the amount of work they put into it..... all the dishes look like work of art. 😍
their dishes definitely look stunning and also have the taste to match🤗yuuummy....
A SOLID 5 star for the service!.... we sat down at about 6:30pm Dec 25th....
the place is super pack, yet we didn't wait more than 5min to be seated buy an usher.
almost immediately we were asked by server no1 about drinks and we reactively asked for hot ocha.... and almost immediately we were served with the hot tea👏.
then server no2 came over within the first few sips of our hot tea asking whether we were ready and we ordered Salmon Carpacio appertiser..... within 5 minute, we were eating the salmon👏👏.
then without asking for hot tea refills, server no3 came over politely fill our tea as if she has been watching👏👏👏
then server no2 took down the rest of our orders..... server no. 3 came over again and top up our hot tea.
within 5 min, manager no1 came to our table with our hot dishes! 👏👏👏👏
server no. 3 refills again.
i believe at about 20min of our stay we are almost done and another manager no. 2 came out with our desserts as soon as he sees we have successfully devoured our dinners....
server no. 3 refills again.
good lord, if it wasnt for the pandemic protocols, i would hug every one of them in appreciation!!

Elegant place with indoor and outdoor area - and a beautiful bar. They also have private rooms.
I didn’t try a lot but what I’ve tasted were great. The Tamagos was fluffy and plump, there was a salad with beef slices carpaccio style. The dressing is light with a hint of sweetness. Love it. I took a spoonful of the Oyaka Don which was rice topped with chunks of chicken cooked in egg - it was okay but not too extraordinary. For dessert I tried the Matcha Tiramisu and it was DIVINE. Light, super soft and not sweet - very sophisticated taste. I would come back just for that dessert. The only downside is the portion which is honestly small for the price. It almost the size of a fine dining.
I’m planning to return to try their other menus though - including their cocktails.
Friendly staff and quick service. Space is not big so you might reserve on weekends.
Price is standard like other similar Japanese restaurants but as I’ve mentioned before portion is small.
Additional comments. : we came back here to dine and tried the Strip Wagyu Steak which I like. The beef slices were tender and grilled in front of us on a small table top grill. Also tried a selection of sushi - the seafood were all fresh but the sushi rice was unlike the usual sushi but mixed with some kind of sauce which was not what I preferred in a sushi. My husband tried the Unagi Fried Rice which was richly cooked and...
