Chanbā Private Room Grill PIK — Restaurant in Jakarta

I had always wanted to visit Chanba after seeing some IG posts about it. Finally made my visit today and it was such an amazing experience!

First of all, starting from reservation, although it took some time for the admin to reply my chats, the responses were very helpful and well delivered. That's just one good point already. Next, I love the place! The ambience is just very nice. So cozy and comfortable. The staffs were also very nice and helpful. Although I have to say sometimes the staffs were a little bit unresponsive but it was still within my tolerance.

For the main dishes, I ordered quite a lot since I planned on applying for their membership program and all of them were satisfying. The quality of the pork and beef was very decent. The fried rice, japchae, and soups were also above average. I wouldn't say it's authentic to Japanese or Korean taste, but they all tasted so good.

I like the variety of the drinks as well. One that was underwhelming was the dalgona matcha, the matcha taste was a bit diluted. The other drinks I ordered which were lemonade sorbet and yuzu something was very refreshing.

Overall, I really love this place and would definitely come back for my birthday lunch! PS: they also have a very interesting birthday promotion for member card owners!!

Was here yesterday for a birthday celebration. Booked a regular room but was able to change last minute to karaoke room due to the increased number of people coming. The staff over whatsapp was helpful & friendly in assisting the changes in booking.

Service here is exceptional, very accommodating & friendly. Our waiter’s name is Suhendra and he was amazing. Thank you for the birthday choux ☺️

The room, however, is a bit tight which is expected as we’ve been here before last year and was reminded during booking that the room max capacity is 8pax and it’s quite tight.

The food is pretty good, except for the pork. The pork meat smells. I’m pretty sure I’ve made similar comment on their suggestion card last year. Anyways, I hope they can improve the quality of their porks oon.

Other than that, everything else is quite good. Didn’t take many pics but we ordered quite a bit - meat plattee, ebi sushi roll, foil mushrooms, foil clams, yuk gae jjang, gyoza truffle etx. All pretty grear except the pork...

Well worth it, could've been better. Need more exhaust in the room. Me personally doesn't want to bother handling the smoke, I just want to sit, relax and keep bbq-ing.

The price a bit expensive for the menu given, have been to a lot of bbq restaurant. A bit much but still okay for my range. Need to improve the size or at least give more complimentary with small snacks, that is lacks in there.

Very closed and personal feeling, grow when you eat together in private room like this. All things considered, the restaurant model, served the purposed. Like when I do business in korea.
