Ok. Why 3 stars. This is the first time I came to this branch of "Central". For years I've been a customer of the "other" Central, located in Petojo. We as a family highly regard that place, as the foods are tasty, albeit a bit high in price. I expected the same in this place, but lo and behold, it really fell short. I have to admit, the place is awesomely decorated, and much better compared to the other branch. But the food... The corn soup? Watery and feels like it came from a canned soup. The fish? Probably just me, but there's a tinge of dirt-taste. The veggie? A mess of a taste trying to be everything. The only commendable ones are the Shrimp Mayonnaise and Sweet and sour chicken. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Central Tomang Restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience overall. The food was quite tasty, although I felt it didn't quite reach the exceptional standards I had previously encountered.

What truly stands out about this restaurant is its suitability for events. I attended a Chinese New Year celebration there in 2025, and it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance was festive, and the staff did an excellent job ensuring everything ran smoothly.

A few days ago we had a family dinner there...so many years that we didn't eat there...on Sunday, June 16, 2019, we decided to eat there...So expensive and the taste not really worth it with the price...we order lumpia udang, babi hong, sup he piau, ayam kung pao, and gurame saus vietnam. from alls menu I just like the babi hong and gurame with Vietnam souce. Lumpia udang taste no good and the texture so hard, Ayam kung Pao taste really ordinary with that price, ingredients of he piau sup just really really nothing special (just he piau, shrimp, pakai coy that's it) with high price and the soup taste nothing special too...so we really Lil bit disappointed.
