Cutt & Grill PIK — Restaurant in Jakarta

Booked table here on Sunday at 12 pm for 4 pax to celebrate belated birthday. The place was empty, a bit unexpected for a place in PIK. When we came, only 2 tables filled in. In total, there are 4 tables, including us. We ordered 2 steaks and 1 pork knuckle. The waitress asked if we wanted to drink mineral water while checking the menu. At first, I thought it was free mineral water, and it turns out it's not since he asked which size we want. We said later and then proceeded to order other drinks. They said the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes.

After ordering, they give us some free appetizers. We came around 12.10, ordered in around 10 minutes later. Until 1 pm, the food has not come yet. They only offered complementary iced tea.

Because of this, I have suffered GERD since the food took way too long 😑 Yes we could order appetizers, but there is no way I will order a watermelon salad.

Food came. It was good steak, even the pork knuckle. We all agree it is one of the best steaks. However, for me, good food but equal to bad service will not go together.

Why it's bad, they serve my iced latte, come with 1 glass and 2 shots glass, ask to help pour the espresso, but they spilled it. Only said oops and came back with tissue. Then, they didn't bother telling us anything for almost an hour. The reason doesn't even make any sense. Because the tables ordered altogether? Only 4 tables are available at that time. How long would it take to cook?

We also had bad service experience in another branch. Don't think we will come back...

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened steakhouse “Cutt & Grill” in Cove Batavia PIK, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. The ambiance was exquisite, with breathtaking views of the sea that added a touch of tranquility to the dining atmosphere.

As a steak enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the Picanha MB4. The Picanha was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with a delightful char on the outside. The variety of cuts and cooking styles on offer ensured that there was something for everyone. The attention to detail in seasoning and presentation truly showcased the chef's expertise.

The service was impeccable, with a well-trained and attentive staff that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall experience.

I went here for anniversary dinner. Made reservation through their whatsap on instagram. I love the ambience of the place. Not very crowded and a bit dark at night, but it was nice. They have variety of wines on display. We orderded wagyu ribeye, aglio olio and nachos. The steak was superb. Juicy and well seasoned. For 300 gram we can eat for 2 person. The aglio olio came a big chunky of salmon! Didnt expect it. The pasta flavor was nice and the salmon was very juicy and not over cooked. The cakalang nachos also nice!
