Villa Capri at Batavia PIK — Restaurant in Jakarta

First things first, the location itself, I will note that it's pretty good. It definitely played a part in my decision to drop by this location. Note that this is cashless and digital payment only.

The interior is nicely themed around lemons, and it is nicely air conditioned while somehow being semi outdoors. The music and bustle outside are also kept out more than one would expect from its semi open nature.

The downside? It would benefit from having personnel stand outside in order to attract customers as the entrance is specifically inconspicuous. There's a pretty good amount of space and the restaurant can seat a good number of people.

It does reservations and the restaurant is flexible in regards to when its not fully booked.

The food? Pretty damn good. Our orders were the onion and chicken soup with chilli oil, this was excellent. The truffle and mushroom risotto is a classic, and that is a good thing. Youre able to ask the staff for extra parmesan cheese which I do recommend for the risotto.

Besides this, we ordered the Roma Sphagetti which is also very well done, but could use some extra black pepper (which they do provide).

The restaurant provides authentic, heavy italian flavours.

We tried 2 different cocktails. Dolce vita and Bella Dona. The bella dona is milder and recommended for the ladies and the delicatesm the Dolce Vita is excellent as a Gin cocktail.

All in all.. quite excellent. The Tiramisu.. *tira miss u, is beautiful and authentic.

The 1st time I encountered Villa Capri 9 Nov 23 is merely for food-testing & sight-seeing. However, I'm so impressed wif the TIRA-MISS-U (Dessert) after whole meal of Quattro Formaggi Pizza dat I think also very yummy wif melty cheese served.

The signature of TIRA-MISS-U is the blend of COLD Chocolate Pancake wif vanilla sauce and splash of quite-bitter Tiramisu neutralizing the sweetness of chocolate & vanilla mixture that so far (Dec 2023) as far as I'm concerned still not found in Indonesia - currently Gangnam Pancake served wif hot pancake & Pan&Co served wif very sweet taste - that U need to try it as one of PIK 2 Signature's dessert.
