Let me tell you. Coming there you have to wait just for a seat. Even tho there's and open eat. Nobody will respond to you and the employee just chat with them self.
Getting a seat isn't just bad. Trying to get the attention of the waiter takes years even if you put your hand high up.
Waiting for just kwetiau and chicken hainam takes 40 minutes. Eating at a busy food court doesn't even take that long. Maybe the drinks would come early??. Just ordering Tea takes 30 minutessss. Who the hell makes just ice tea for 30 minutes. Spoons and fork you need to wait 5 minutes. Imagine ordering food for so long the first thing they gave you is your food. Am i suppose to eat with my hands while other people eating with utensils??. The girl behind there got his food earlier than me even tho i came 10 minutes before her. The cooks don't even do anything and just chat. Bakery gets managed but restaurant ?? Absolutely didn't, just open a bakery to be honest.
Maybe the service was bad. The atmosphere was even worst. Crowded everywhete with kids running around. I thought i was in a playground a for a minute. Maybe that's something you can't change. Maybe the food will be good?
No, it didn't. Kwetiau looks like a mess, no seasoning and very salty. Maybe the chicken would taste great? I already ate they're chicken for 10 times. Horrible truly bad, Chicken didn't have meat at all skin, no skin at all. Okay that's unavoidable maybe? WHERE'S THE SOY SAUCEE ???. Even the parsley looks pathetic. MEAT IS STILL UNDERCOOKED EVEN THO I WAITED FOR 40 MINUTES ??!!!. Even the hainam soup just lacks flavour. I dont even know if im suppose to eat here again or what. Treated them well but i was served this.
0/10 Experience i rather eat anywhere else than this to be honest
Also the drinks cup was wet and was too sweet.
Terrible service, terrible atmosphere and food was just horrendous.
Should've gone somewhere that gives food poisoning than red...
Read moreBeen going to eaton bakery since I was in high school in Pluit, didn’t have a clue that they have expanded their menus for the resto, finally did try it for dinner tonight and it was very very good!
There was quite a bit of a queue but the staffs were quick on clearing tables etc, while waiting you can actually browse on their selection of breads and cakes.
The menu looks very much peranakan styled and quite varied. We ordered tom yum fish soup (tom yum beehon with fried fish and minced chicken) and nasi lemak cumi (blue coloured fragrant rice) Both portions are very decent, very generous with the fish. Flavour wise cannot complaint, pretty authentic, closest thing to original peranak...
Read moreSpecializing in Chinese food, overall Eaton restaurant serves decent food with affordable price. My most favorite food here is the Kwetiau Goreng Singapore & Kwetiau Goreng Penang which I couldn’t miss every time I visit this restaurant. The portion is also generous so it’s good for family/group dining. However the service tends to be slow even when the restaurant is not that packed. To easily access this restaurant it’s best to park at P8 as it is located just on the right side of the...
