came for lunch on the weekday with my family and with no reservation, we were the first guest coming and only 1-2 tables were occupied in our two-hour session. seeing photos and reviews from other people, there should be pizza and potato wedges? they’re unavailable during my visit, not sure if the menu supposed to be different each day.
the pasta wasn’t even ready and had to order it in advance. had alfredo and bolognese pasta, and they just tasted so so almost non existence. the smoked beef on the pasta wasn’t even looking fresh, and almost look like a leftover beef slice.
almost all the cooked meals were cold even though they’re served in this silver cooking tray that supposed to keep the food warm. except their soups such as meatballs, oxtail, and soto, they’re all still hot while served.
the meat was tender but also cold, maybe since the restaurant only heated up the beef with this cooking torch, so we only got the warm cuts from the outside part of the beef. the butter flavor one was too salty. chicken stripes and sausages were tender though. not really sure how many beef/chicken flavors were available but we were only served beef rendang, gulai, butter, garlic, samyang and chicken gulai, spicy korean.
talking about beverages, they only have two options here: sweet tea and lemon tea, also with the ice bucket so we can serve it cold. for someone whose mom doesn’t like tea, she didn’t drink anything at all and asked for mineral water which is not included in the AYCE package, so we should pay extra for a mineral water bottle. note to the restaurant to add more beverages option because not everyone drinks tea.
as for the dessert, they have this plain vanilla ice cream with no toppings served. also a bucket full of shaved ice and toppings to make ‘es campur’ such as nata de coco, jelly, fermented cassava, etc served in this glass container with lid. they have chocolate and mango pudding too but i was too full to try. however the dessert didn’t even seem appetizing and interesting with lack of toppings, especially the ice cream.
been to the regular FOGO before, but this one is my first time to visit a signature version of FOGO which is more pricey, that was supposed to be more premium and have more food options. but overall, it came a bit disappointing to me and my family and not worth our IDR 201,000 per pax. I would rather go the regular one with less food option but taste better.
staff service and our server were super helpful and friendly too but the food performances and quality were just so disappointing. not sure if it’s due to my weekday lunch visit during working hours or the food quality/performance would be much better on the weekend since it would be much more...
Read moreIt was our first time visiting this Brazilian BBQ chain outlet since it moved from MKG 1. Honestly we kinda disappointed with the quality of service and food when it was located in the old place the lat time we went there. So we kinda wondering what kind of food and service we were gonna get at the new place.
Not long after we settled on our seats the foods started coming. Garlic and Honey Sirloins came one after another. They were tender and tasty, leaving a bit fat to keep the flavors alive.
Then there were the Belly Butter and BBQ sausages. The Belly Butter was a sure bet if you are looking for tender meat, but they have more fatty parts than the sirloin. The sausages were tangy and savory as they were wrapped in beef bacon.
There were other dishes available, served buffet style: pastas, rice, corns, onion rings, fried spring rolls, meat ball soup, chicken katsu, jerk chicken, garden salad, watermelons and various desserts. The crews were doing good job in making sure no dishes were left empty. We got our pastas and onion rings freshly made!
We came to this restaurant around noon and the place was not crowded. It was cleaned and looked well-maintained. However the AC seemed to be working minimally as we felt a bit too warm for comfort, but somehow the room was felt cooler right before we left our table.
We would recommend this place to get good Brazilian churrascaria in Kelapa Gading, hopefully the place was always cool for our comfort when we visit this place again...
Read morePerfect resto when you crave for meat with affodable price and nice place. With Rp. 200K you can eat barbeque meat non-stop for 90 minutes. There are many variants of roasted meat: garlic, honey, butter, spicy. There is sausage too. The roast variants taste quite similar actually, because the differences just come from the spices layered on the outer part of the meat. And there is roasted pineapple, smeared with palm sugar and cinnamon on the outside. Perfect for dessert. My favorite. Besides the roasted meat that comes to and cut on your table, there are also food stalls on the center area that serve various pastas, salads & fruits, also Asian foods such as various satays, soups, meatballs and roasted ribs (konro). The drinks that include in the package are sweet drinks such as sweet iced tea. Sometimes the resto give promotion, such as buy 2 for 4, and this is so amazing 😍, just like when the last time we came here on monday (7 april 2025). Anyway, their normal price of Rp200K for unlimited beef for 90 minutes, is already a...
