Lima Detik - Eighty Nine Kemang — Restaurant in Jakarta

First time coming here, the staff asked how for many people? I said 3 but I was given a table for 2 people. There was a wider seat but the staff said, "but the minimum order is 100,000 rupiah per person" with a condescending look.

My friend and I didn't mind that, and eventually we sat down and ordered according to the rules, even more than 100,000 rupiah per person.

At the cashier, the male staff was also impatient and hurried to take our order. I wanted to ask about the coffee first, but felt awkward, and couldn't change the order because it had already been inputted, although eventually, I could. But the gesture and way of serving were very unpleasant to watch.

The coffee finally arrived. The Medan Perang coffee tasted so-so and too sweet for my taste, making the bitterness of the espresso disappear. The Kopi Lima Detik was just like regular milk coffee.

Then the food started coming. My friend and I ordered Tahu Lima Detik, Caesar chicken salad, and savory waffle. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying.

Just a suggestion from me, if possible, don't look down on others, because all visitors should be treated equally and respectfully, because we also want to have a good time here.

It's quite surprising that we're still seated here. The head of staff offered a sincere apology and expressed gratitude towards us, which we genuinely appreciate. Thank you once more. Reflecting on it, such feedback could serve as a constructive tool to enhance our work and make it more satisfying.

We were presented with a new menu, and to be honest, I'm not yet familiar with its name. However, it resembles a Danish pastry filled with cheese and slices of meat. It's truly delightful and pairs wonderfully with coffee.

Good place to work and good food. This is my 2nd time visit for WFC but this time i would like to write a review and questioning about the pricing and the measuring for the coffee . I ordered upsize iced coffee lima detik upsize and iced americano upsize, thought that it will be enough to spend hours there. But then when it came, the size of the coffee was not what i expected. I ensure the waiter whether it is the right coffee that i ordered, the upsize one. But he then confirmed it is already correct, it is upsized, both of them.

With so many iced i think i have finished the glass of upsized coffee not too long. Then i ordered another original iced coffee lima detik regular size for the sake of curiosity and then i poured it into my empty upsize glass and yes it is equal 😩 i mean, why do i have to pay more for such amount??? My first impression when I stepped in through the door was awesome. Lots of plants, but indoor. Where else can you find a place like this? Unfortunately for a non-smoker like me, there was very limited seating in the non-smoking area. Not to mention, the non-smoking area and smoking area was in the same big room without partition, so you can smell the smoke if you’re sensitive to it.

The service was kind of confusing too. There was no one ready when we first arrived, until we approached one of the waiters. We were asked to sit at a table first and then make our orders at the cashier (in the smoking area, so eventually you have to breathe in the smoke), but without given a table number or asked where we were seating. So when our orders were ready, the waiter circled around the place and didn’t know where to serve it until we said it was ours.
