Ny. Hendrawan — Restaurant in Jakarta

I placed nasi tumpeng order a week in advance thru whatsapp, and requested 09:00 WIB delivery. They were able to fulfill my request professionally. Had to admit, the chat response time varied. There were times when they replied promptly, but there were also times when I had to wait for a reply. But it never took them more than an hour to reply, even if I chat them after 18:00 WIB.

For delivery, they applied delivery charge depending on delivery address. To me, the delivery charge made sense, considering they were delivering to an office building where they had to pay parking + they brought their own trolley + they brought my order to my office lobby (I don’t have to go downstairs to pickup the order).

What I think can be improved is that D-2 before delivery, they will confirm through land line phone whose number were not informed before. I have a habit of not picking up calls from numbers I don’t save. I would rather be confirmed through whatsapp chat.

During the day of delivery, their driver will call to confirm delivery. I would appreciate if, prior to the delivery, the customer service inform details of the delivery staff (name and number) so I can save the number first.

The driver was so nice, he sent me pictures of when he was about to deliver my order upstairs.

All in all I had pleasant experience ordering through whatsapp and making payment through bank transfer. Keep in mind I ordered for myself personally, not ordering on behalf of a company. Minggu lalu saya order nasi box dng total kurang lebih 600 box untuk 2,5 hari berturut2, makan siang & malam. Dengan service yg SANGAT mengecewakan. Dari awal pemesanan, pemilihan menu HARUS mengikuti ketentuannya dr sekian byk pilihan paket yg ada di katalog. Jam pengantaran maupun pengambilan juga HARUS mengikuti jadwalnya, alhasil pengantaran utk makan siang mepet di jam 12 & pengantaran utk makan malam tiba terlalu awal di jam 5 sore sudah sampai di tempat. Sangat TIDAK FLEKSIBEL & TIDAK HELPFUL padahal yg saya minta juga bukan yg aneh2 & sulit. Apa2 dikatakan tidak bisa. Minta dikirimkan invoice via wa TIDAK BISA. Minta difotokan ketika pesanan tiba di tempat (hal yg sangat lumrah dilakukan oleh para kurir) juga TIDAK BISA.

Ditengah persaingan bisnis kuliner/catering yang sangat ketat saat ini, service seharusnya dilipatgandakan. Sekarang ini banyak banget catering lain yang sangat helpful, pesan dadakan juga dilayani tanpa ribet & rasa masakan juga ga kalah dng Hendrawan. Dalam rangkaian acara 5 hari tersebut untungnya ga semua saya pesan di Hendrawan, tapi saya bagi dengan catering lain, yang servicenya sangat memuaskan, jauh banget dari Hendrawan. Apa karena merasa sudah punya nama besar sehingga tidak mengutamakan customer tapi malah memaksa customer mengikuti aturannya?
