Spacious place and spacious parking space as well. I didnt expect the place to be that big from the outside tho.
I ordered their snow bun, which is supposed to be the wing heng's crispy charsiu pao but the overall finish was so different compared to the menu pic. But then again, tasted good despite the odd looks hahaha.
Siomay special which consists of pork siomay and topped with shrimp was superrrr good. Love it.
Xiao long bao, eh.. I'm not sure if putting it in a tin foil helps with the way you eat a xiao long bao, but it def make it harder for me. I couldnt suck the soup out of the xlb due to the way it was being put inside the tin foil. Skin was also too thick for me.
Hagao, again, skin was somewhat dry and thick but the shrimp was plump and juicy.
Love the streamed beancurd!! So flavorful and the thick broth has that depth of flavor that just makes you want to have more and more.
Guo tie, nothing special. Crispy outer layer, a bit soggy on the inside but it actually taste nice as its juicier that way.
Overall I would def come back. And they also have the promotion where you can get one hong bao with min spend 150rb. I got 20k off, pretty good...
Read moreThis is absolutely our favorite dim sum place! We ordered a huge variety of dishes and almost everything was fantastic. The chili sauce they provide is the perfect tangy and spicy complement to all the dim sum.
Here’s what we loved:
· Leng Hong Kien: My ultimate favorite! It's a fried shrimp paste cake topped with a delicious yellow mayonnaise sauce. A must-order. · Fried Wonton: Perfectly crispy and delicious , paired with mayonnaise · Seaweed Siomay: Another top pick for me—unique and flavorful. · Lobak XO: Savory and served with a great crunch from fresh bean sprouts. · Kwetiau Goreng Polos: This stir fried rice noodles dish was excellent—it tasted clean and was elevated by crispy fried pork lard. · Shrimp Hakau: Classic and well-made, with a good shrimp flavor.
The only slight letdown was the Cheong Fen Shrimp; it was a bit lacking in shrimp meat and wasn't as satisfying as the other dishes.
Overall, the dim sum is fairly priced, with most plates ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 IDR. We highly recommend all the dishes listed above and will definitely be back to work our way through the...
Read moreConsidered as a new dimsum place in North Jakarta, this place can't follow the hype, for its all average. The food, the price, the place are all not bad, but not outstanding though. I had been here with 5 other member, 3 adults and 2 kids, and spent 400k for a full stomach.
This place is spacious, not too many seats especially for a family restaurant. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable, but when customers started to come and made a long line, they just got busy and unintentionally forget the orders. Howrver, for those who like an ordinary dimsum as well as the ala carte might come...
