Considering that this place was so highly rated, we were excited about visiting. It was truly disappointing at best, other than the venue decor and ambiance.

We had kids Mac & Cheese, which was probably the best thing that we had. However, the cream had a weird aftertaste, which tasted very processed. The mozzarella cheese on top was very good, but almost too overpowering.

We started off with the Calimari appetizer, and it was seriously the worst that I've ever had. It was drenched in oil, and the batter was way too thick with a very thin slice of calimari. Terrible. It came with some fried enoki mushroom that they tried to pass off as shimeji, and you couldn't even taste the mushrooms because the batter was too thick and oily. You could tell that they fried the calimari, mushrooms, and nori in cold oil and waited for them to cook. Each piece was so oily and heavy, it was gross. The only good thing that came out of this was that it came with fries. They were crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. Surprising perfect.

We had the Linguine Prawn Sambal. The prawns were way overcooked, and the linguine was drowning in oil. Yuck! However, the seasoning was okay, and it was slightly spicy.

We finally had the Filetto di Manzo and asked for it to be cooked medium. The tenderloin was cooked very well, but the steak sauce tasted like processed Gravox. Truely awful and ruined the meat. It came with mashed potatoes, which again tasted very processed, and the texture was gluey. Not good. The steam veggies that came with the dish were a slice of carrot and two snow peas. The carrots were overcooked, but the snow peas were absolutely perfect. Very al dente.

The service was friendly, but not very attentive. Perhaps it was because of Ramadan. For about 1 mill for lunch for two, I would have been more satisfied eating at Burger King.
