Pizza Marzano — Restaurant in Jakarta

Today I went to Pizza Marzano in Kota Kasablanka. There was big screen at the entrance says: 20% discount for BCA card holders.

After finished my meal I gave them my debit card, and when they are asking for the pin I realized there is no discount!

When I asked the reason; waiter said discount only above 300rb, I said my bill is 320rb, then he said it must be before tax 300rb, then I asked "then why it's not written at the entrance", he said it's written(!)

I did the payment, went out and checked the signboard nothing!! I did trusted that liar waiter, if I had checked the signboard there was no way I did that payment, they could call the police I don't care.

I told him to call his manager, manager arrived. He said t&c applies, (then you must write at the bottom t&c applies dude!) I told him to show me the t&c but he can't "find" the so called t&c and legally if you didn't write any t&c you can't apply anything!

My discount supposed to be 65rb which won't make me poor or rich, an amount that I don't care, but being cheated I do care. And I don't know how many people they trick daily. Pizza Marzano such a scam! shame on you! #BCA shouldn't allow them to use their on this scam!

I have the picture of the signboard where there is no t&c mentioned!

Edit: I've changed my 1 star rating to 5 star, for the fast response of Pizza Marzano managers. They have apologized and changed all the signboards in the very next day. Well...

To admit, this was my first time tasting italian-style pizza. Somehow it was really thin and crunchy at first bite. I tried the basic one: Romana Podomoro Pesto (IDR 103K). All I could say the sauce little bit different compare to the common pizza franchise in this country. No meat, just basil leaves, melted cheese and pesto as topping, off course, pizza's tomato sauce. The second menu that I tried was Spaghetti Aglio Olio (IDR 62K) Obviously I laughed to this spaghetti. The oily spaghetti reminded me with Bakmi that I often buy when I was a kid. Off course that bakmi taste much better that this spaghetti with IDR 100 only per serve. I hope i could come again to marzano to taste classic...

I’ve been dining at Pizza Marzano for many years and have always enjoyed their pizzas and pastas. However, over the past few years, I’ve noticed a decline in quality. The pizza dough is no longer as good—it’s less crispy, and the consistency has changed. Each slice lacks uniformity in the distribution of cheese and sauce, and there’s also a slight sweetness in the taste that wasn’t there before.

On the other hand, the service is great. I really appreciate how flexible they are with the orders—excellent job to them.

I’m sharing this feedback because I truly enjoy dining here and hope to see the food quality match the excellent...
