Roemah Rempah Plaza Senayan — Restaurant in Jakarta

The food tastes okay, the soup/sauce were cold, had to send back to make them warm.

The service provided was extremely poor, two trainees who brought our drinks had no clue who had ordered the drinks and where we were seating. The staff were completely ignorant and unfriendly! The waitress who served our table: didn’t even answer us when said thank you, never! while serving the food, she didn’t even look at the plate nor the guests’ eye contact! had no idea who ordered what had a long face all the time, no smile, didn’t even say anything when the guests started to eat.

The owner should have hired the people who have hospitality background or at least who knows how to work professionally in the service industry.

We came from the hospitality business and looking at how this outlet runs, we wouldn’t be surprised when it closes down soon.

Spent more than 1 Mio IDR for 4 pax were complete waste of money, just to experience this kind of service! Would never return nor recommend...

They are liars and have no service standard. I came in and specifically asked if certain dishes were available. They said yes they are available. So we sat down and started ordering. After our drinks came out, the waitress came out and said some of the dishes were not available. As a matter of fact 33% of the dishes were not available. And all the dishes we ordered were exactly what we had asked earlier.

They will lie through their teeth just to get you...

The restaurant is big, the service is damn good too, we stay about 2-3 hours and they still let us continue our talking.

The food is delicious although some of it contain chili, but we can ask them to separate it. We order some fish, eggplant, wagyu and lumpia. All of it taste good and delicious. They also serve beer (beer bintang). If you want to hangout or having a discussion this place is a good...
