Sate Taichan "Goreng" Tebet — Restaurant in Jakarta

Honestly tho, heres what happened: First timer, I was waiting for 45mins queue-ing while inside the resto was half empty.. Poor the customer! The cash register machine was only one and the employee was exhausted cause no one did the job as good as she is.. The others are just "complimentary".. The food was so so except the "sate kulit".. Its mostly because of my fond of sate kulit bigger than any other food. I thought this resto was not worth my time.. So I decided never come back Second time, their IGstory launched new menu "TAICHAN MOZARELA" Im dying cause mozarella was my new addiction. Ive come to buy it but the line wa sooooooooooooooo long. Gosh the queue system hasnt changed at all!! I decided to order via gojek. And i waited about 2 hours to get the food, unfortunately that Taichan Mozarela for dine in only.. My other disappointment.. Third time, again im so fond of mozarella and im addicted to it so i gave it a try.. Sadly i started to queue, but again, the thing I really wanted was out of order.. Fortunately, i tried new resto 100m from taichan goreng called bakso boedjangan and the provided bakso mozarella.. Its quite a taste! My curiousity continues, after working hours I decided to give it another try. Im blinded by the igstory desire taichan mozarella. I came (fyi, my work and home wasnt really near. It took an hour and half minimum to go there), and I queued, I first asked if the menu i Wanted is available they said yes it is. An hour passed by and finally I had a chance to pay first and ordered what i wanted. Taichan mozarella is first on the list. I waited again about 20 mins.. No drink and food. Again im waiting. All of my orders was set afterwards excep my most desirable food the one and only thaichan mozarella.. In the middle of eating while waiting my most fave menu the waiter came to me and brought me a horror announcement. You can guess.. My menu is OUT OF ORDER!!! Can you believe it???...

First thing first, I'm not a taichan lover but this is worth trying. The place is in a crowded area, even this place followed the health protocol, but the surrounding isn't.

For the place:

in front of the store only fit for 1 car and some motorcycles

they separate into 2 places but in 1 shop for dine-in and takeaway, and I think its a good idea because the queue takes a long time so the employees can be more focused on customers who want to dine in or just takeaway

yes, the queue is taking more time, and not fully rule the social distance (i think its because of the small place for queue)

this place has a washbasin in front of the store and a toilet

they have 10-15 tables with 2 chairs in each table because of this pandemic and the covid rise again so they maintain 1 table only for 2 persons (good to practice the distancing)

The food and beverages, also service: 1 portion of satay or other food is affordable

the service is quite good before we sit they ask us to wait a minute to clean the table and chair

after we order and pay in front of the store, we get inside and were given the small alarm to take the menu by ourselves

they prepare the food not fast but not too slow

Besides that, this is in my opinion, the employees must keep an eye for the neat and clean of the store especially in the toilet area, there's sticky, oily in the floor even I smell some stinky in the toilet area (to make the customers more enjoy). And one thing, if you get the parking space in front of the steak and shake area, the "tukang parkir" will give you 20k for parking there. Saya berkunjung pada bulan Mei 2023, namun baru sempat dan ingin saya kasih ulasan sekarang, karena jujur sangat membekas dan membuat trauma meskipun sudah setahun berlalu, tapi rasa kesal saya saat mengingat kejadian tersebut masih menggebu2, oke singkatnya begini

Saya, Pacar dan Sepupu saya janjian makan siang, untuk makanan jujur lumayan dan affordable, namun sangat disayangkan pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh waitress cowok sangat membuat kami kecewa.

Dimulai dari saya dan pacar masuk ke resto, biasanya kan selama makan di resto langsung duduk, baru kita pesan saat duduk, namun ternyata perlu memesan dahulu di awal dan ditegur dengan sedikit membentak dan muka yg kurang ramah oleh waitress cowok tersebut, dia berkata begini "mba sudah pesan belum ya? kalau belum pesan dulu ya", oke saya jwb " belum, pesannya dimana ya?" dia jawab "di depan" tapi tidak memberitahu dimana tempat pesanannya, jujur perasaan saya sudah sedikit kesal tapi ditutup dgn perasaan bingung, lalu, saya akhirnya pergi ke kasir dan mengambil menu, namun karena saya agak lama karena bingung dan saya juga menunggu konfirmasi dari sepupu saya yg belum datang untuk pesan apa, supaya sekalian dipesankan, kasir tersebut mempersilakan untuk duduk dahulu saja.

kami pun mencari tempat duduk yang lokasinya nyaman, nah selagi kami mencari tempat duduk, waitress tersebut menghampiri kami dan bilang bahwa nanti untuk pesanannya diambil sendiri, oke sahut kami, setelah menulis menu, selanjutnya pacar saya memberikan pesanan tersebut ke kasir. kemudian pesanan siap dan pacar pun mengambil, lalu sepupu saya tak lama datang dan memesan menyusul, pesanan susulan pun diantar oleh waitress tersebut. lalu saat makanan diberikan, waitress tsb masih dengan muka tidak ramah memberikan makanan kita, namun saya tahan muka kesal ini, karena saya berusaha untuk mempertahankan mood baik, saat semua makanan tersebut ditaruh di meja, kebetulan meja menjadi penuh karena menu yang kami pesan banyak, lalu sepupu saya refleks menaruh nampan di bawah dengan posisi berdiri, namun waitress cowok tersebut berkata "jangan ditaruh di bawah mba kotor dong", kami semua pun agak syok mendengar dia menegur sepupu saya, sepupu saya pun menimpali "ya ga muat mas di meja makanya saya taruh bawah" oke lanjut kami pun tidak mau bahas apa yang terjadi tadi dan lanjut makan karena perut pun sudah keroncongan sedari tadi.

Disana kami mengobrol hampir 3 jam dan memesan dessert karena masih merasa lapar, saat kita masih berbincang-bincang, tiba2 waitress tsb menghampiri kami dan bilang bahwa MAKAN DISINI DI WAKTU YA, kami pun agak syok mendengarnya dan kami bergegas keluar padahal makanan sepupu saya belum habis dan alhasil dibungkus, padahal selama saya pergi ke resto manapun yang bukan AYCE, tidak ada peraturan seperti itu dan saat saya melihat sekeliling pun KOSONG TIDAK ADA YANG WAITING LIST.

Akhirnya kami pun ke kasir dan bayar, saat di kasir sepupu saya bertanya ke kasir "mba emang disini makan di waktu ya? soalnya saya pernah makan di cbg bandung ga ada peraturan gini" mba kasir mendengar pertanyaan sepupu saya agak syok dan menjawab "oh gaada mba, emang siapa yang bilang ya?" ya sepupu saya pun bilang waitress cowo itu yg memberitahu kami, oke singkat cerita kami pun berpisah disana dengan sepupu, namun saya dan pacar mampir ke alfamidi, DAN TAHUKAN KISAH SELANJUTNYA SAAT SAYA DI ALFAMIDI, SAYA DISUSUL OLEH WAITRESS COWOK TERSEBUT DAN TIBA2 MARAH KE SAYA, padahal saya lagi memilih2 belanjaan di Alfamidi, dia tiba2 berkata "MBA NGADU YA KE KASIR" MASYAALLAH SAYA LANGSUNG SYOK DAN KESAL MENDENGERNYA, saya jwb "maksudnya gimana" dia jawab "iya bilang ke kasir ya tadi, saya jadi dimarahi, padahal dia baru gatau apa2, saya sudah lama dan saya tahu aturan di resto ini" GUE SYOK DENGERNYA, KENAPA MALAH MARAH KE KITA, KAN SEPUPU GUE JUGA BUKAN NGADU, LEBIH KE KONFIRMASI AJA KE KASIR, SELEBIHNYA KALOPUN DIA DIMARAHIN BUKAN SALAH KITA, DISITU SAYA BERDEBAT, tpi saya ga kuat lanjut dan dibalas oleh pacar saya yang sabar dan ikut minta maaf padahal bukan kita yg salah, kalo diingat masih...
