Overall, dinner at Shiki Jakarta is an amazing experience. Service, ambiance, atmosphere was great. They also have specialized chef that will explain how to cook the sukiyaki and actually cook it first to you to give an example. For the food, they always want to balance the taste of the food by making sure this food is not too sweet/not too salty/not too sour by giving us the combination of the toppings (very much appreciated of the detail) and they give you the bitter matcha to balance your tastebud after eating savory dishes. If you ever come here, make sure to order the Yakiniku Ju. Thank you for the dining experience, Shiki! Will be...

Just a stone's throw from home, Shiki Dharmawangsa surprised me with its unique take on Japanese cuisine. The sleek, black interior instantly transported me to a modern Tokyo eatery, and the attentive service only enhanced the ambiance.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Sukiyaki. Watching it meticulously prepared in front of us, complete with the unexpected addition of candy floss, was a delightful spectacle. However, the exceptional service made up for any shortcomings in the food. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, Shiki Dharmawangsa is a great option for those seeking a modern and unique take on...

On my second visit, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant, so I was able to park the car directly in front of the restaurant myself, however I was handed a ticket and was forced to pay for valet parking. I parked myself with no assistance from anybody, and I am holding onto my key, but yet I was told this is a compulsory policy from the management. I verified this with the restaurant staff, and they also claimed this is compulsory. For those who know, parking at any restaurant in Jakarta, as long as there is empty spaces directly in front of the restaurant, you never have to...
