The interior design of the restaurant is very distinctive, unique, and classic, with a strong emphasis on classic items with a certain artistic flair. The café feels distinctly classic yet like a mini gallery, where the items on display are part of the collection of Atjeh Connection's owner, Amir Faisal Nek Muhammad.
The Atjeh Connection first opened in Slipi Apartments, Jakarta, in 2015. To ensure the culinary offerings were of high quality, Amir, who has a refined palate for food, brought in chefs directly from Aceh. From Slipi, The Atjeh Connection continued to expand.

Not only that, The Atjeh Connection also offers dishes that are relatively appealing to all visitors' palates, such as vegetable rice rolls, goat curry, fragrant rice with rendang egg balado, ganja chili sauce, Plik U, oysters, Aceh-style crab, and others.
