For the appetizer, we ordered these following dim sum: Pangsit udang mayonaise this is a wonton with shrimp and mayonaise filling. The shrimp were fresh and crunchy, with just enough mayonaise to not overpower it. The fried skin were very exquisite, it was yellow-golden tinted, with light yet crumbly texture. It's definitely not just another usual hot water dough skin.
Lumpia udang keju, it has a golden crunchy skin with generous chopped shrimp filling, the cheese was not the emphasize, but just a back up to make the shrimp more savoury. The shape were long and tubular, like astor snack.
Hakau. It's the usual chinese dim sum basic fare, and it was done well. The skin is translucent with slight chewiness, it really wasnt soft soggy overcooked like many other less reputable place. The shrimp was good, as always.
Salted egg steamed pao. It is a bamboo charcoal colored pao with rich runny salted egg yolk filling. The pao is moist and tender, while the filling is smooth and savoury.
Overall, i find the dim sum very good and of a great quality.
For the meal, we ordered: Mun tahu jamur. The usual homemade egg tofu custard, it is okay.
Mie goreng siram udang. The crispy noodle were thin, smooth, and golden, a bit like mie titi makasar, i find the noodle texture rather good. For the sauce, it feature stir fried thin sliced tenderloin, with usual soy sauce flavoured cornstarch thickened broth. It was okay.
Roast duck. It was okay, it isn't very crispy though but it suits rice eater. i think the peking duck (skin only served with rice pancake) would be crisper.

Read moreThis day 07 04 2018, i have lunch in this place with my mother, my wife, and my son. This place was my mom fav. But this day if i can rate about this, for food the taste was still great, but the services was verry decrease than last time (around first month in this year my last visit). The waitress was not sensitive to serve our table. But i dont know with my left table, i hear from his conversation with the waitress, he is one of the owner friend, damm, all of the waitress give them high level of services, for exsampe if in their table was a dirty plate, the waitress will come to they table and change the plate with new one. I order alot of food, and have so many dirty plate, theres no one waitress come to our table, so i put the dirty plate in the table beside of me... Poor servicess in this time. Last month this is my family fav resto, but i dont think for this time...
For the wet tissue, its a standar from this resto, but until we finish luch, there's no one waitress come to our table to serve it...poor and verry poor...
Read moreI'm not going to share any pics here because you can get from anywhere. Ok, first their food. Their duck dis is of course the main attraction. It's crispy on the outside, but juicy, tasty and tender in the inside. Their other menu that I usually order are prawn in salted egg, fried beancurd with salt and chili, fried prawn with oatmeal (don't remember the exact name of the menu). I usually add with stir-fried broccoli in minced garlic or stir-fried baby beans with minced beef. And always order their fung zao (steam chicken feet) and fried mantao. Second, their presentation. Their service to this day is always excellent. They are very familiar with each dish, always professional but friendly. They remember their regular guests habit. Third, ambiance. You can get a casual meeting with client to a small family gathering here, because they set up the place in such way that you can have small table for 2 or large round table for 10 people. The surrounding itself is relatively quiet, so...
