Toby's Estate Gunawarman — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came here for lunch and Was given a seat that was booked and had been reminded that we need to finish by 1pm. After we had our main course, we ordered a slice of bailey cake. It was 12.30pm so supposedly we had ample time. By 12.45pm, we were asked to move our seat which is ok so we didnt need to rush but the cake wasn't served yet even after we called out the waiter 2x. As we had other appointment and needed to leave at 1pm, the cake finally came and the waiter asked whether we wanted to take away whilst we had informed that we cancelled our order and would like to settle the bill after waiting for the cake for 15 minutes. It is a ready to eat cake, we didnt know why it took so long to serve. The waiter was quite insistence that it couldn't be cancelled as we had ordered it. Another waiter came and we settled the bill but then found out they still included the cancelled cake. After we made hard complaint, they changed the bill but we were late to our appointment. Really unprofessional service for such an expensive place. Surely won't come back...

The service needs to be better, with waiters being able to be conversant in English.

I came here for lunch but was asked to not eat as they have no vegetarian options. This is a surprise as usually the restaurant is able to provide a vegetarian option. As a well travelled person, I have never had such trouble, and to be not offered food at a restaurant seems excessive.

I will definitely not be coming to this place unless changes are made

I mentioned to the waiter that I do not have pricing considerations. I requested that I be given the breakfast of champions without the meat and the eggs. I was told I could not be given that. I repeated the same thing to the billing staff, who also said the same.

I did not want to have acai as I wanted to eat something savoury. I specifically mentioned if bread, baked beans and tater tots could be provided at the same regular price as the normal plate. If this was possible it should have been...
