Let's get the food out of the way first... It was one of the best sushi, sashimi, and japanese food overall with authentic taste, as it was frequented by Japanese, however...

Dropped 3 stars because the service was that bad... Staff was very loud conversing personally with each other... They made 2 misses in my experience and were unapologetic in all cases (seems they just don't care about having a review like this). First they forgot about an appetizer, and when reminded just said that "it's coming". Second and most fatal was they swiped my card on the cash register, which is ilegal since 2017 as potentially stealing my personal data. When confronted they just said "no we didn't swipe, the card fell off". No sorry no nothing in both cases.

In summary, very good food (although there are alternatives especially in this "little tokyo" neighborhood), horrible experience. Come at your own risk.

P.S. this restaurant is 1 floor above Sushi Kawana and they are in the same group. Pretty sure Kawana is even worse as we were not even let in by an unfriendly staff who shut the door...

Tried out their shio soba, tempura moriawase, and salmon sushi. The sushi can be better with more rice but the salmon is absurdly amazing. I'm caught off guard with the quality tbh, it's something in the level of a specialty sushi restaurant. So fresh and delicious.

Shio soba is savory, the texture of the soba is chewy, and I can feel a hint of smokiness from the dish. I really like it, but some people might feel that the taste is too strong.

The tempura moriawase is solid. The prawn tempura I ate smells a bit fishy. My other friends didn't encounter a same problem though, they like the tempuras as well. so I guess I was just unlucky.

Overall it was a good experience, the place is cozy, the food is great, and the price is not that expensive either. Will...

My friends always hype this restaurant.. and oh boy oh boy… What a place.. The place is cozy, a really nice service.. (We are sorry for coming so late, but they still serve us.. Thank you…)

And the food, oh my.. let’s talk about the food the beef tongue so good.. the onigiri so good.. I mean not a single dish that disappoint me.. even the drink is so good.. so fresh and refreshing.. I will definitely come back with my friends and try the sashimi and sushi…

The only problem here is the parking space. Well it is in Blok M and yes you need to be patient… and damn.. it...
