KAMAZÉ — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

I had all-in ikan sushi roll. It took forever to arrive. Small portion with small piece inside roll for such price. Apparently overpriced as most places in Amed. Tuna didn’t taste fresh at all. Shari was too crumbly & too much breaks apart.

I asked the staff if restaurant guests can use the pool. She said “YES OF COURSE” that’s it without further explanation (I spoke in Bahasa Indonesia so there shouldn’t be any language barrier). If I didn’t read other reviews here, I’d also assume that if you’re eating there you can use the pool. Which is correct to some extent but there’s a catch. Sign where you have to pay for IDR 50k to swim or minimum spend IDR 100k at the restaurant wasn’t explained at all. Yes there is sign but very much hidden on counter desk (tbh no one would see unless they go there to pay, a lot in most cases would just pay on the table).

Just a humble suggestion to put the sign in front of the pool so people who are interested in swimming...

Spaghetti del mar was well sauced and offered a variety of seafood that was nicely cooked. I tried asking for some garlic bread, but couldn't communicate it effectively. The fresh, young coconut was decent. The chocolate brownie was delectable and paired with the perfect amount of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, which was delightfully thick.

There are a variety of tables to choose from, some tall with backed bar stools, others much lower where you can kick off your shoes and sit cross legged, as well as "normal" sized with "regular" chairs.

Beautiful setting with color changing lights in the pool at night, a giant statue head fountain, and gorgeous art work at some of the tables.
