I almost never leave reviews, but I couldn’t let anyone come here without reading this.
We arrived before 1 PM and never received the brunch menu. I assumed they didn’t serve brunch at this hour anymore.
It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come and take our order.
We never received the young coconut, which is supposedly complimentary according to their own claims.
The food arrived quickly, but it was incredibly bland. The burger and pasta were disappointing. The pasta was essentially spaghetti with cooking cream, a few mushrooms, some garlic, and onions—completely uninspired. The burger was equally unimpressive (check out the pictures).
Another couple near us asked for the brunch menu and were told it wasn’t available at that hour, and they wouldn’t be getting the young coconut either. They waited for 15 minutes without anyone taking their order, so they eventually left.
We also had to remind them about the two hot lattes we ordered because they didn’t arrive—even after we’d finished lunch.
The service overall was poor. With only a few tables occupied and three people behind the bar, they still couldn’t manage to make two lattes in 30 minutes.
Uluwatu has so many great places to eat. Don’t waste your time or money here.
The one redeeming factor—and something I truly appreciate—is that they have a very well-cared-for dog. Kudos to the...
Read moreOne of the worst experience dining in Bingin area. First, no one welcomed us which was not a big deal but it was confusing whether or not we should just sit anywhere or we need to wait to be seated. Two, our waiter was not trained well, with a place and price they have, we expected better service. The way the waiter spoke was very insincere maybe because we're Indonesian? I asked to change waiter but he insisted to serve us; should have left the restaurant at that moment. We wanted to order nasi goreng with no eggs mixed in the rice because of allergies and we mentioned it several times but the food took a while and after one main course came, a different waiter asked about the eggs (prove my suspicion about the first untrained waiter). Third it took 25 mins for our coconut to come out. Last and the most annoying part was the dogs, there were around 7-10 dogs and it was chaotic, I believe there were a pet sitter service that were one of the customers and stayed there. They were bothering alot of the customers. The staff didn't do anything until I mentioned it to them and ask for help. These were a few of the dogs when they were passing by our table slowly. Never...
Read moreThis was my first time in Uluwatu, and I usually feel a bit skeptical about where I eat while traveling. However, this spot was the closest to our villa with great reviews, so I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did!
From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. The staff, including the host and manager, were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They guided us through the menu, making great recommendations. The atmosphere is simply amazing, with that unbeatable Bali vibe. The addition of a pool table and a swimming pool makes it more than just a foodie destination, it’s a place to relax and socialize.
As for the food, everything we tried was delicious! My top picks for breakfast are the smoked salmon and peanut butter bowl. For dinner, the octopus skewers and chicken wings (honestly the best in Bali!) were outstanding, and the pasta Bolognese was rich and flavorful.
If you're in Uluwatu, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...
