If you’re looking for a restaurant that completely disregards your allergies, this is the place for you!

First of all, cost. Whilst the dishes were cheap, they were lukewarm, disappointing and not worth the money. The food was greasy beyond belief and a friend’s quesadilla was floating in a puddle of oils. Another friend had a chicken pizza and it was honestly more bland than white bread.

The wait times were varied- drinks were served and refilled very quickly which I appreciated, but on the other hand it took an hour and a half for mains and the restaurant was not busy.

As for the service staff, they ranged from friendly and attentive to rude and dismissive. They did cater nicely for our group of 12, however this was largely helped by us booking a table several hours in advance.

And finally, allergies. I am extremely allergic to capsicum to the point where I carry a laminated photo of capsicums everywhere I go in case a waiter doesn’t quite understand what I’m inquiring about. I ordered the vegetarian mei goreng and firmly told my waiter that I am allergic and showed the photo. She said she understood and would ensure my dinner didn’t contain it. When the dish arrived an hour and a half later both the noodles and the side salad contained large pieces of capsicum. I showed the waiter that I could not eat it and she whisked it off to have it remade. However the remake also had capsicum. I showed it to her again and she said ‘sorry’ and walked away. Well thank you for that apology but I literally could not eat the meal without throwing up. God knows what would happen if a customer with an anaphylactic allergy to an unseen ingredient had faced this issue.

Overall this restaurant was extremely disappointing, the dishes were bland and greasy and the service staff don’t seem to care about the customers. I wouldn’t recommend this...

Was recommended this place by a couple in our hotel just 0.8 miles up the road in the Sakala resort. We hadn’t been out for dinner around here, was a bit wary after bit of Bali belly but gave it a try, what a wonderful place. The staff were so attentive, great atmosphere with all the lights and the food/drink was excellent. Wished we would of found it sooner, they even paid for our short cab back to save us getting sweaty with a 20 min walk! So pleased we went here. Thank you so much to the tree! The best place in Bali for cuisine. the food exceeds expectations, we went here as a family several times, tried all types of meat and seafood and they were all very tasty and cooked correctly. At the same time, the price tags are lower than usual in restaurants of this level of cuisine. They clearly have repeaters, a class higher than is customary in establishments with such prices!
