Nasi goreng iga babi for 79 K IDR++
Luscious glistening pork ribs yum yum. Now the portion for this fried rice with ribs is quite filling, and both the rice as well as the pork is very well made. However, this is kind of pricey for Bali if you are used to smaller warungs and eateries. However, if you are okay with the cafe and restaurant prices, this is really quite worth it.
Now i don't particularly like BBQ sauce, but they slather their ribs with this slightly spicy BBQ sauce that i reckon must be home made (or at least they remixed some store bought sauce to get this delectable spicy undertone) and i have to admit that that moreish spiciness made me ask for more of the sauce and i even ate almost all of the prawn crackers they gave me (and really i usually do not touch these regular prawn crackers). The ribs themselves are more tender than average, so it really is one of the better ones i would recommend if you like ribs compared to many others i have tried in Bali or Jakarta.
Subsequently, the fried rice is also good, but really - as with most proper restaurants - it tastes a bit too "clean". I guess the high heat, smokiness, and charred style of proper street food fried rice is really hard to replicate in a commercial kitchen setting. That being said, this fried rice is definitely still better than most fried rice i have ever had in hotels or upscale restaurants.
So really at 79 K++ it is really worth it. I was tempted to go for the 135 K++ half rack of ribs, but really at 79 for 3 bones and some rice i would probably recommend this option. Subsequently, their 37 K++ mango lassi is also quite worth the asking price for its thickness, taste, and consistency. I would have preferred some mixed spices and nuts blended in, but i guess that they have toned down the spices for a more international appeal.

While the food isn’t all bad, it was at best mediocre. The taste itself was still fine but the quality of the cooking could be better. I ordered beef ribs while the rest of us had chicken satay, fried rice with pork ribs and grilled chicken. My friend specifically asked for grilled chicken breast but when the dish came out it was the drumstick and thigh which was something my friend didn’t eat. We had to return the dish and my friend ended up only having a dragonfruit smoothie which was freezing cold.
My beef ribs as seen in the picture was covered in white chunks of fat. If the ribs were properly and freshly cooked, those fats would likely be rendered and the meat tender. But these ribs are likely precooked then frozen, and only heated up when ordered. The thicker portion of the rib clearly did not have enough time in the oven and the fats was still a solid white sticky piece that stuck to my teeth, roof of my mouth and tongue when I ate it. Was really disgusting as I had to scrap my mouth clean with a tissue.
In the end I left the entire piece uneaten and wasted. Customer service was also not great and quite rude especially when we told them that they got the order wrong. All in all would not recommend if there are other...

During our trip to Bali, we mostly followed a tour group itinerary, which meant we had little control over our meal choices. Unfortunately, most of the food we had over the past few days was just average.
Finally, on our last night, we had some free time, and our guide recommended IIGA WARUNG, a local BBQ restaurant specializing in grilled pork ribs and beef ribs. And wow—this was exactly what we needed!
Food & Flavor The ribs were grilled to perfection—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The BBQ sauce was rich and deeply marinated, making every bite incredibly satisfying. Whether paired with fries or steamed rice, the flavors worked perfectly together.
To complete the experience, we ordered cold beer, which elevated the meal to another level. Nothing beats BBQ and beer after a long day of exploring Bali! 🍻
Price & Value The price per person was around USD 15-20, which was very reasonable for the quality of food and portion sizes. Compared to the meals we had earlier in the trip, this was by far the best.
If you’re in Bali and craving authentic, flavorful BBQ ribs, IIGA WARUNG is definitely...
