I think this place is still finding its feet. Little bit confusing as to which package to book, obviously we need to see the various levels before deciding. Staff seemed a bit worried about this⌠Found a level we liked - great view. Food is okay. Canât even remember what I ordered as it wasâŚokay. Drinks (I own a bar) certainly lacking in taste. Lovely big lots of tea though! I thought music was good - appropriate type and sound level for the area. Itâs rainy season so it started raining. We got moved up to a level with really loud music - not appropriate with a young child and for adults that wanted to chat. Moved up to another level - that was nice. Itâs on 7 (?) levels so lots of stairs and the funicular. Quite fun and some interesting choices of design. Itâs not long opened but I noticed that on a lot of the wooden decking the varnish has already worn off, some rust in places as well. Itâs BaliâŚ. Great views - had a decent sunset despite the rain. It just is lacking something. We had a friend staying with us: also took him to Karma and Ulu Cliff House. He says they were more memorable due to staff and quality of drinks and food. Iâd advise Clive to get their staff energised and proactive, make them confident and fun. Make a decent cocktail for the price - people just want to taste some alcohol and will complain if they donât. Hopefully things will improve as staff...
Read moreI visited Klive with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and we really enjoyed our time here thanks to the amazing staff! They were friendly, attentive (always looking out for us in case we needed anything) and accommodating (we requested to shift from the sunbed to the indoor bar because the weather was too hot outside, they immediately called their staff and helped to shift all our belongings and plates up).
Although the location is abit out of the way, the view, facilities (toilet is air conditioned, pool is very clean & empty) and service made it all worth it! The food was also surprisingly YUMMY - order the truffle mushroom pizza!! As we went in February the min spend for sunbeds were waived and we had to pay 250k++/pax (300k after taxes) for amenities - include pool access, shower/towel use, watersports. F&B bill for 2 mains 3 non-alcoholic drinks came up to 550k. Would say overall very worth the price.
Do take note watersports depends on the tide, when we went they were closing it at around 11+am, you'll have to arrive early... but the weather/sun at that hour is very intense so we could only kayak for 10-15min before we returned because of the scorching...
Read moreThis might be my new favourite beach club in Bali that I came 2 days in a row and trust me, I've tried tons! It's super cool, the beds are so comfy, it's not sandy, and the people are just so so warm, friendly, sincere and just spectacular!
Panday (I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly, I apologise) was attending to my bed and he's very attentive and connected with me so sincerely, telling me about how the sun sets etc.
Arjun, the lifeguard, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the sea and current and sunsets as well, I appreciated that he cared about my safety a lot and would offer to help paddle me or take pictures for me. He was even concerned whether I had a nice time out at sea, just so kind and caring!
Chloe at the reception was also so sweet and kind, offering assistance with booking a car back to the hotel and showing me more of what the beach club is like on other floors. She even makes these super cute paper origami turtles as a lovely thought!
Toilets are so clean and cooling also and music vibes today with the DJ was on point. I couldn't be happier and I wish this "new" beach club all the success...
