New Bayang Cafe — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Wonderful food. Wonderful view. But such terrible service. And so, first things first: 1. I asked about the set for 350k, they told me that there is no crab now. It was worth saying that then we would look at other restaurants and immediately found the crab 😁 . 2. The photos indicate the promotion: “In Love” from February 1 to February 28, but we were denied it. The waiter said it wasn't working and didn't explain why. He referred to the fact that he would work on February 14, but why then indicate an incorrect date? 3. Throughout dinner, no one cleared away dirty dishes and napkins. 4. View was great, sunset was amazing. Cocktails were nice too, but unfortunately, food was not quite yummy - grilled clams and prawns had sweet bbq sauce all over so you can’t even taste the usual taste of prawns and clams. I can’t tell even if it was fresh or not cause the taste was covered by the bbq sauce. Felt like it was such a waste for seafood.

Also we ordered jumbo king prawn as we were told by the waiter that it was around 12 pieces per kg. It came 24 pieces, half the size of what we had imagined. He then apologised for providing the wrong information, but after checking, I then realised it was practically the same size as king prawn. So don’t bother going for the more expensive one...

New Bayang cafe Everytime we went to Bali, eating seafood is a must! This is the kind of restaurant, where we could choose the type of seafood we wanted on the display, and then they cooked it straight away. Because it's too smokey in the indoor area, we chose to sit on the outdoor dining area, by the beach. We were dining while we watched the ocean waves and also the stars above.
